just an info. garminXT has a file named cardrunner that runs automatically to run another file that is linked to it. it runs when your phone is on..regardless of restarting

is uses battery and you can only turn it off with jbak taskman. but it will turn on again. it uses significant amount of battery without u noticing it.

so if you are not using GPS that much or if u care about batt life..then better not install garminXT latest version v5..the old version better cause the file can be deleted/turned off (reported to be better in terms of batt usage but performance maybe not that good compared to v5)

most if not all current ORI nokia phones selling in the asia pacific region are made in china.

nokia phones that are made in finland or other european countries are sold in europe and other areas except asia pacific region. to get these phones that are made in euro, you have to buy AP set..

there are 3 back cover given for this phone right? if want to buy got ap or ori or what? will it change the theme?

let's say i want to get more back cover than the original 3 covers..how? and will it change the colour according to the new extra covers (not the original 3)

let's say the other extra covers that i want to buy is blue and red.. will the phone detect the chip and change the theme colour accordingly?

another Q, are there ap set covers? and do those have chips to change the theme colour?

oh... i understand.. that means that the coloured themes are IN the chip itself and not in the phone pre-installed?

but what if i use a different cover from the original 3 covers given ..like another different coloured cover from my friend's n79. will it change to the covers colour?

like grey version covers used on white version phone

you mean by screen quality or the graphics smoothness?

n82's screen is the same as n79's. the only diff is that n82 has a much dimmer screen compared to n79.

take note that n82 has a 3d chip so ngage wise the games run much smoother and it looks better too. n79 doesnt have a 3d chip like n82, n95 and n95 8gb..

Added on March 18, 2009, 10:58 pmi donno about n79's rattling sound prob but n81 certainly has one..if im not mistaken all n81 has a soft rattling sound if u listen carefully and it's perfectly normal and there's nothing wrong but for some reason it has that sound...


maybe n79 has that prob too..probably nothing...try askin around.

what is wrong with it? what do u mean? the glare at the top left side?

im not sure about n79 pic quality but my phone dont have the blueish tint if i take a picture like that.

i think maybe because the glare from the light source

it is also because n79 has a lower aperature lens compared to older n82 and n95...

one more thing...try taking pics like that with night mode OFF... i think that will solve the blueish tint..

dont go to nokia store...the price they are selling is exactly the RRP recommended retail price... the other shops that sells would give a lesser price up to rm100-200 difference..depend on models too..

some say that the shop in giant kelana jaya gives a low price for an ori phone compared to other shops
