ur welcome bro , the new firmware has several bugs.. it's still not perfect yet.. u can uninstall 3rd party theme from app.mgr right now.. in case u have noticed it.. previous firmware doesnt allow u to uninstall 3rd party theme. be careful of phone hang.. coz i encounter randomly crash when i unlock keypad.. hopefully nokia will release new firmware asap

i experience it too. just the word "keypad unlock" and it stucks there. must remove the battery only and restart the phone. im using the lock button and so far so good. no more the traditional unlock way

p/s : how's the battery life using GPS ?

seems like this phone is not stable to use yet rite?

i able to use 5 hours for the GPS. (Consider good for this type of battery)
And what i like about the GPS of this model is, so far i have compare so many model, the GPS receiver of this model is the strongest among all.

Anyways, I saw in the beginning pages that the N79 supports Garmin Mobile XT rite, am wondering if you need to uninstall the current nokia maps thingy or anything (since it last for 3 months rite? have a friend using N95 ori set says that it has expired as well)

the N79 is rock stable, with no problems for me

the radiation for n79 is so high...its 1.4 SAR rating lol...any idea what can help with it?something lik radiation shield?

nope.. i zoom pic almost instantly.. there is no lagging when u zoom ur pic..

chiamin23: radiation very high? lol.. if want to prevent radiation better dun use any device equipped with microwave .. this includes wifi internet, wimix, fm radio station and many many more.. our lives ald full with microwave.. so if let's say the radiation is too dangerous to our body.. i guess we all have to move to forest..lol.. by the way, juz try not to use hp so often if u worry about the radiation..

bout the keys, i encounter a problem which sometimes the star key kenot be press.. i dunno wat happen then after i quit the program or wait a while.. the star key back to normal.. i wondering is this cause of my keypad o the firmware.. hope is firmware.. then can update and solve.. lol.. or else.. send back to ori fac.. then need to wait very long.. hmm..

Guys, what is the latest firmware for N79?

You can transmit songs to your car stereo but transmit GPS navigation i dont think so it is possible

lol. i got it like twice, i was thinking maybe that i accidently press the camera button when i unlock way too many times thus the thing also hang lor. cuz usually when i hold my phone i will accidently press the camera button too.
