So have u try do this :
Settings>General>Personalisation>Themes>Standby (choose and apply any from there).
After applied, will auto swith to standby screen. When u try to press number o menu key, it totally can't work.

guys, what screen protector do u use for your N79. So far, I've tried 3 different types of screen protectors and they all fall off after a week or two.
was just wondering if there is a special type of screen protector for our phone.

i usually just receive a few calls and surf the net for 30 minutes a day. yet, by the end of the day, my battery will be left with 1 bar. I'm beginning to suspect that the salesman might have switched my battery to a imitation model.

Hey people... I'm choosing based on these 2... N79 & N85
Cause i'm more of a classic phone guy, or Nokia calls it the monoblock.

But somehow i find n85 nice, best design i would say among N series,quite good review too. But i've never heard anything about n79 so far.

So what do you guys recommend? what are the difference between these 2 cause their specs looks the same, its just that n85 can support higher memory..

can but will be quite dark...
n79 camera has sports mode as well, but since it is using led flash only, the image will be quite dark...

e52 & e72 have 600mhz procesor while n79/n85 only have 369mhz..

i've read quite a of opinions on n79, apparently n79 lags shit.. my friend's mom just bought a new set recently & she's thinking selling it off already because of this lagging & hanging problem..

not sure with the external memory, it's a lady user.. i dont think all these memory card stuff concerns her, which means its oem..

hw cm i c most of the housing selling in lyn forum dont have chinese strokes at the keypad...

Added on March 17, 2010, 6:11 pmbtw, is nokia bh-216 compatible with n79? cant find n79 in its compatibility list...

for me, as for now, it is worth to buy.

what i dont like?
- keypad a bit hard to press, since there are no clevage between key 1, 2 and 3, afraid it will crack in the middle
- using A-gps will eat your money a bit

Settings > Positioning > Positioning Methods > Integrated GPS (only enable this and disable others so that it's free to use)
