Does any one have any problems with 3G signal with their S2? I just ported from DG to UMI28 prepaid and found that it was very difficult to catch a 3G or Edge signal. However other U mobile subscribers like a Blackberry and a Note2 besides me can get almost 3G/H+ signal. APN is correctly set to my3g

PS. Problem solved after leaving phone overnight!

Most of the dealers will persuade you to take up Postpaid citing the disadvantages of prepaid. Same in my case and my friend. I think it has something to do with commissions. I insisted on prepaid! Tell them to cut the card to microsim or nano for future proof and retain the other part for normal mini SIM use.

For Postpaid the biggest set back is when you use IDD, you have to have RM300 deposit whereas Prepaid no need. Call Charges are the same if you use budget IDD and IDD I think

Why is U Mobile-"Broadband" and "Mobile Internet" coverage such a big difference? Broadband seems to have way better coverage than mobile internet.
Cameron Highlands and Melaka are covered under "Broadband" but not "Mobile Internet".

Prepaid validity 90 days, UMI28 subs only 30 days rests on top of prepaid validity, 64kb with H+, 100 min free call, 30 free SMS any network, free 12 am to 6:59 pm free calls to UM network. 15% bonus for RM 30+ top up and 10% below that.

MNP only last month and have been very happy with it.

I have experienced download speeds up to 4.16 Mbps DL and 0.55 Mbps UL better than 4 Mbps Streamyx.

I received a sms from umobile saying budget IDD 1310 ends on 26/6/13. Is that true?

Can I opt my existing prepaid and broadband post paid (2 SIM) existing numbers to this sharing account? Is this sharing account post paid? What if my existing SIM is prepaid? Can all this be done at UMobile dealer or must be at Umobile center?
