To fellow U mobile users, I found that RM68 3gb + voice call package is pretty attracting as compared to Digi RM68 unlimited package.

Somehow the network coverage for 3G is pretty bad across Malaysia, just if out of coverage area, will they switch to Celcom then?

Looking for a good backup plan.......already have a Digi Business 150, need something beside Digi in case Digi has no network coverage.

Maxis plan has been insanely expensive.....Looking for mobile data plan only, hardly call out, only for receiving purpose.

do note that the rm68 package does not come with unlimited internet, ie u need to pay 5cents/MB after you exceed monthly quota of 3gb

Not sure whether we are referring to the same thing or not. I think he was referring to this one

Hi, I'm currently using Streamyx 512kbps bandwidth unlimited data. I plan to discountinue this service and switch to mobile internet. I know uMobile will cap the bandwidth after hitting the quota. May I know what is your user experience after hitting the quota?

I plan to connect my laptop to my handphone to go online. Going to cut the Telekom fix line discontinue streamyx.

suggest u not to cut streamyx fix line if it is working good for u (ie, it does provide 512kbps speed)
especially if u r moderate to heavy user

basically u cant rely on mobile internet when u hit the quota
