Also, if you need roaming prepaid don't have.
Depends your need. I need roaming so can't use prepaid. Also the free sms more useful to me than free call.

QUOTE(preducer @ Feb 12 2013, 09:14 PM) itemised got nothing to do with soft or hard copy statement. if u cancel itemised billing then ur bill is no longer "itemised", thats about it. If I'm not wrong when I ask CS about that they said if you opt for e-billing then itemized bill is free.Bodoh thing is that when you first sign up for the line you got no option to do that, must request after the line is activated (which means first month sure pay for itemized bill). Anyway, when I get my second month bill can update. |

QUOTE(WLFung @ Feb 15 2013, 04:05 AM) Many thanks for the info. Go ask CS, I think if you straight cancel Itemized bill you won't get itemized (obviously). You need to convert to 'e-bill only' or something. What you mean is, to cancel the RM3 for itemised bill statement won't affect the Bill Statement download from Online Portal. The soft copy will still remain show up the "Itemised" details. Am I right? That's meant they charge RM3 non-sense for those users who don't know or innocent about it. Think of how many extra income putting into their pocket already. RM3 is not big amount, but accumulated will be quite attractive income for them though. Ask CS. Better yet go to the SC. It will only take effect next month (so you still paying RM3 for Feb). |

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Feb 21 2013, 09:32 AM) No reason. As of Monday (last email they sent me) they said 'we are looking into it and will let you know, here's your report number'. As of last Thursday (the previous time I called them) they said 'your number not listed yet, please go back your service center and ask, we don't have their phone number sorry'. |

QUOTE(kw @ Feb 21 2013, 10:16 AM) Well, one good thing for your case is at least you still receive an email reply, so far I still yet receive any email reply from them (call their cust service line also not successful connected so far). I've found call them about 7am-8am easiest to get them. I've waited for >40 minutes before in evenings, whole way driving back from office to house....After reading your all replies, I even wonder whether should I spend the effort to step in to their CS counter. I foresee I'll receive the typical reply from them like what you all received. |

QUOTE(FireFryXx @ Feb 26 2013, 01:37 PM) I use U28, it's great! it's cheap and every month my bill only cost around rm50-rm80 (include calls or sms ), not sure it be faster than prepaid coz I use postpaid since. So cannot compare la. But a bit sakit if you use too much sms coz it cost rm0.20 per sms. Been there! If you're using so many SMS/calls, why not use the add-ons which would bring your costs down. Comes out to either RM0.10 per minute or 10 cent per sms.So this U28 is preferable to anyone who regularly use data plan, BIS and whatsapp etc. QUOTE(busyman @ Feb 26 2013, 01:55 PM) i am currently using prepaid, thinking to change to postpaid, I'm adding RM8 every month for 80 free minutes (to non-U numbers), which comes to RM0.10 per minute, not bad.anyway i dun think postpaid u28 got free 100 local call |

QUOTE(jusuchin85 @ Mar 4 2013, 11:51 PM) Been looking at UMobile's offering, but just would like to confirm something. If I were to get the U58 postpaid option, do I still need to pay a deposit of 300 for IDD calls? To be honest, that's a bit too much; considering that Digi and Maxis postpaids activates IDD by default. Yes needed, unfortunately.Maxis also nowadays require RM300 deposit I think (for recent numbers). When I activated my IDD years ago no need, but I've heard nowadays need liao. Considering how people can suddenly have 1x,xxx bills from roaming, some deposit required I guess. |

QUOTE(jusuchin85 @ Mar 5 2013, 08:52 AM) I see. Thanks for the info. Just one more question: does this mean that I pay RM300 upfront as a deposit, and if I want to discontinue the IDD feature in the future, the amount will be refunded? What else does deposit mean? Got check here a not - http://www.u.com.my/faq/idd - the U FAQs suck, but the information is all there even if a bit hard to find. |

CS sucks, period. But calling them 7 am plus so far works for me. Internal system not organized at all, cs got no direct access to fix your problems, must raise issue to backend team.
Regardless it's so much cheaper than maxis and celcom and better coverage than digi. For me is a worthwhile tradeoff. |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Mar 11 2013, 02:01 PM) Got question here, anyone using postpaid and the get add-on pack can add on how many times within the month? I remember their FAQ got cover this, check their website. If not wrong should be can (but I will never use more than 80 minutes so not going to test. As long as your usage less than 120 minutes no point to do this.for example I add-on RM8 for 80min to other telco talk-time, so can I add another RM8 for another 80min to other telco talk-time AGAIN within the same month(30days)? |
