QUOTE(davidmak @ Mar 3 2009, 10:45 AM) Err... were you able to restart the phone despite quitting the SEUS? If it cannot, I'm afraid the only way is to send it in for flashing or using DaVinci flashing tool (chargeable). You won't be able to use SEUS to continue flashing because the finalization phase is screwed and SEUS's server is unable to certify the flashing (since it can't detect your EROM details). Only way is to flash from alternative bootloader (EROM approach) which is only accessible by SE or 3rd party flashing tools. This is my 2nd time updating. the first time worked perfectly. I had the same problem... always stuck at 98%. Some forums indicate it is a hardware failure. Some people say SEUS sucks since there's no 2nd attempt. Once fail, thats it. You have to send it in. If you're using AP set, I believe AP companies have the proper tools too. Hope this helps. The reason why im updating again is because I have problems with the wifi after updating. It got stucked at 99% then I force closed it before disconnecting the usb cable. Then it can be switched on. Now u make me worried to try again :| QUOTE(saukoon @ Mar 3 2009, 02:00 PM) about the WIFI issue, yesterday went to the BBQ Chicken at seri hatamas, full bar and the speed was about 100kbps, which takes less than 10 seconds to download a 1MB content.. we seem to lepak in the same places - jayaone, hartamas, lolso looks like this phone's wifi capability is okay at those places with a good AP Will try out the wifi at places with good wireless then |

QUOTE(tengyean @ Mar 4 2009, 11:27 AM) Ok i'm really impress with the photo shots. My question is do the pics look as good on the phone when printed out?? Ive not printed out photos from this phone but i've printed out photos from SE k800i Cybershot. its a 3.2MP phone and the quality is quite nice.QUOTE(ian90 @ Mar 4 2009, 06:59 PM) really? if im not mistaken the current extension is memang png... yea, i hate the fact that they include everything in the Media > Photoshm... my media palyer there now got 18k+ pictures. haha. nvm la, not that laggy till unbearable. but let me kno if you suddenly not lazy and found the solution. XD QUOTE(mADmAN @ Mar 4 2009, 08:36 PM) wat can i say.... Use the M2 USB Adaptor. Takkan la u want to keep pressing "Accept?" Its a whole lot of files so its not suprising that it hangim old school anyway...i unrar the klang valley maps into a folder just now... but when i try to transfer the folder into my phone via usb (in phone mode, media transfer mode, mass storage mode) the thing kinda stopped halfway... tried quite a few times... then when i wanted to delete the folder, a popup came saying the action cancelled coz the device was disconnected or stopped etc etc...damn odd... think mebbe the phone or the card cant take too many files transfered into it at once... will try removing the m2 and shove it in the USB reader that came with the phone and transfer again Added on March 4, 2009, 8:37 pmoh yeah...how do u use skype with this phone?? ive never used skype at all..not even PC..so really dunno anything about that software basically when connected to the net can have free calls right? Skype is for voip. you make calls using it. Personally i've not use it, but the concept is, lets say u're connected on wifi, you should be able to use your phone to login to skype and call ur other skype friends. so basically its free. bluejoey, we should try it out la one day |

mayb its coz im used to bigger phones (using a k800i previously). Im quite okay with typing smses with one hand. Tho i'd have to admit that its a tad too wide.
Anyway, sending my phone for repair tomorrow at Damansara. Cant hear people while calling. hope i get it back fast *crosses fingers* |

QUOTE(pakhusin @ Apr 16 2009, 02:54 AM) Hi, C702 user here. Singgah thread big brother C905 sekejap. ooo thanks for this tip. I'll try it out once i get my phone back from the shopC905 also got geotagging rite? geotagging can use for free. Set assisted GPS to never, then start geotagwhoring. Remember to set Add location too in camera settings. Not to forget that my favourites also can set without using money/prepaid, simply turn on Status info (assisted gps: never), go to My Favourites, and add and save current location. Well, but in case u all know already, it's okay then. blurjoey: hvnt seen u in the thread for a while. been busy? |

QUOTE(y_owez @ Apr 18 2009, 01:32 PM) bro, how many times u wana ask about the camera? lots of ppl (myself included) has posted up sample picsQUOTE(Duckies @ Apr 18 2009, 09:17 PM) Can i go to the SE centre and change the speaker?I am willing to pay extra. The volume is too soft..cant hear it at all in noisy environment..unlike my old nokia phone, very loud.Even deaf also can hear. mayb u should just go change it. I think the sound is quite loud, not sure about other ppl thoQUOTE(Archronicles @ Apr 18 2009, 11:01 PM) Nice, thanks for the insight. Would go find a good camdriver later. Any recommendation? bro, some of maistora's photos looks like its edited to look like HDR photos (correct me if im wrong). Not a really good indication of how good the camera isSigh, went over to this thread and read bout C905's cam being underestimated They obviously haven't seen this QUOTE(Archronicles @ Apr 19 2009, 02:57 PM) On a side note, a test shot with the original camdriver. Not what I'm expecting. Auto mode, Macro, No Flash and Fluorescent lighting. Man, I'm one lousy photographer. Any tips on good macro shots? One method that i always use with SE is to focus on text that is the same distance as the object. Eg: put a paper with text in front of the object, focus it, then take the paper away and snap. depends on what u want to focus la actuallyone sample macro shot (but i didnt use the text paper trick). just resized & a bit of spot correction ![]() ~~~~~~~~~ I should be getting my phone back today from the shop. did the thread get moved? I thought it was in Handphones/PDA subforum
QUOTE(qwe65 @ May 1 2009, 12:45 AM) some people uploaded photos in this thread already~~~~~~~~~~~~ Btw, i just downloaded this application (its free), called FileLock which hides your files by adding a .lck to the extension of the file. so it cant be opened unless you open the app, enter the password and then unlock it. Best part, it also hides files from the Media menu usable for other SE/java enabled phones also. recommended by me http://www.getjar.com/products/5964/FileLock |
