how do i use the phone as a flashlight? using a software is it?

nope. I've even managed to learn to type sms-es with one hand with the other hand on the wheel but its a bit wider than my usual k800i

Seems like the only way to on it is Video Mode > Light On

This is my personal opinion
Sounds - My volume is usually set at 5 (out of 8) and music playback is quite nice, no pecah sounds on the songs. For the speakphone handsfree, I've used it while driving and its quite good and loud. Sometimes if Im in my room, i on the speaker phone so that im free to walk around the room doing other things. I've not used a Sony Walkman phone so I cant really compare [Rating : 4/5]

Camera - The camera is much like any other cybershot phone - must do some tinkering with the settings (especially light balance) to get the correct colours that you want. I'm very satisfied with the camera. [Rating: 5/5]

Others - I've experience lags entering the contacts after typing the msg but not all the time, just sometimes - esp if its a long msg. When I go to Media > Pictures, its a bit slow to load all the photos. i got about 10000+ "photos" - thanks to my gps maps. I dont know why they categorize it as photos even though the maps are in a totally different folder

I find that the speakerphone handsfree is quite good.

no. blurjoey was talking about the k800i which uses a reddish LED light to take photos

anyway, we are not talking about the k800i here. The only way (that we know so far) to activate the white flashlight in the c905 is by going to video mode and switching on the light

you can switch it on without recording video

welcome back from ur vacation. btw since u were using the k800i, i would say most of the themes/apps and games are usable on ur c905. same screen size

I dont think the c905 allows u to change the IP address it connects with right? I've tried connecting to free wifi like starbucks & mamak stalls and its okay

oh btw, during CNY, i tried sending mass smses (more than 10 numbers) but it seems to automatically convert it to an MMS. u guys experienced that?

its the first time i open the calculator.

the other items (timer, notes, etc) dissapear when i press the end call. only if i press up or down then it re appears. is that what you're talking about?

seems like pics #2, #3 & #4 has white dots. is that usual with c905's night photography? I havent tested out my phone at night

I still havent fully explored TrekBuddy because Im not a heavy GPS user but i find that it is rather slow to connect to the gps.

Yes. I've surfed the internet with this phone in kedai mamaks with free wifi. so far so good. im using opera mini to surf, its a really good application
