QUOTE(apeq @ Jan 27 2009, 11:47 PM) have anybody here encounter keypad problem? nope. I've even managed to learn to type sms-es with one hand like some of the number is hard to press? mine number 3,6 and 7 got this problem.. QUOTE(blurjoey @ Jan 27 2009, 11:47 PM) Seems like the only way to on it is Video Mode > Light OnQUOTE(momotz @ Jan 27 2009, 11:52 PM) my hubby and i are planning to buy the c905. but we're still thinking whether it's worthy or not. we saw the phone the other day but are still deciding. read some of the reviews on the net, and still cannot make up our mind. to c905 users, what are ur comments? we prefer phone with good sounds, and good camera. stable, not lagging even though got a lot of things stored in the m2. so, are we on the right track? This is my personal opinionSounds - My volume is usually set at 5 (out of 8) and music playback is quite nice, no pecah sounds on the songs. For the speakphone handsfree, I've used it while driving and its quite good and loud. Sometimes if Im in my room, i on the speaker phone so that im free to walk around the room doing other things. I've not used a Sony Walkman phone so I cant really compare [Rating : 4/5] Camera - The camera is much like any other cybershot phone - must do some tinkering with the settings (especially light balance) to get the correct colours that you want. I'm very satisfied with the camera. [Rating: 5/5] Others - I've experience lags entering the contacts after typing the msg but not all the time, just sometimes - esp if its a long msg. When I go to Media > Pictures, its a bit slow to load all the photos. i got about 10000+ "photos" - thanks to my gps maps. I dont know why they categorize it as photos even though the maps are in a totally different folder QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jan 28 2009, 02:23 AM) WHAT???? I find that the speakerphone handsfree is quite good.hows the volume when using the speakerphone handsfree ah??? can hear clearly?? and do u have to shout to be heard?? coz most SE phones the speakerphone sux This post has been edited by IcedNyior: Jan 28 2009, 04:33 PM |

QUOTE(kae7 @ Jan 28 2009, 04:40 PM) aiyo, read the previous posts. QUOTE(awong @ Jan 28 2009, 12:08 PM) wasnt there a java app for the k800i that allowed to use the red auto focus LED as a flash light, it might work on c905 anyway, we are not talking about the k800i here. The only way (that we know so far) to activate the white flashlight in the c905 is by going to video mode and switching on the light |

QUOTE(davidmak @ Jan 29 2009, 01:39 PM) Haha! Its a nice trip. Spent more time with my phone and was able to get the best out of it. Thats why I'm back with some souvenirs for you guys. Honestly speaking, the flash menus and themes are great. The wallpapers are 'motion' aware and will change and warp depending on phone orientation. Also I have the most coveted Everchanging and Day & Night themes from SE S500i and also Sequinity theme from SE T700. These are calendar/event aware wallpapers which morph. welcome back from ur vacation. btw since u were using the k800i, i would say most of the themes/apps and games are usable on ur c905. same screen sizeAnyway, yes it should be put on the first page for the benefit of other owners here. |

QUOTE(SilviaSS @ Jan 30 2009, 11:31 AM) A bit of concern to ask. no such problems on my set. maybe you want to go back to the shop where u got it and ask about it. My C905 have a bit of "defect"? The sliding screen section is kind of not so well assembly. Hmmm how to put this out. Well, is just that the main screen section are off balance and when you press on the "end call button" the section will kind of like sink down and once you release the button, the whole section will pop up. Well, if some one understand what I mean, perhaps you can help me illustrate better or does every C905 user facing the same problem QUOTE(davidmak @ Jan 30 2009, 02:44 PM) Same here. No problem on the slider. Its smooth and not too loose. However, mine has a gap on the top part which is typical for such designs. Some don't have the gap on the top side but has gaps on the lower side. what kind of gap? |

I've tried connecting to free wifi like starbucks & mamak stalls and its okay QUOTE(mnpl @ Feb 3 2009, 06:12 AM) woah! I would like to see my messages conversation in a chat view~  wonder how would it be like~ something like Iphone? hehehe...  cant wait for the firmware update ooo that sounds niceAdded on February 3, 2009, 12:39 pmthe c905 slider seems a bit looser than other SE slide phone's i've touched- like the S series phone or walkman phones (cant rmbr which models). thats probably one drawback future c905 owners want to consider This post has been edited by IcedNyior: Feb 3 2009, 12:40 PM |

QUOTE(nixonyang @ Feb 6 2009, 10:46 PM) can i have a step by step guide on how to install trekbuddy and load files (unzip???)inside it??noob here. like someone said earlier, you are just plain lazy and always expect to be spoonfed. You can read their website (that blurjoey gave some posts back) for instructions or search this thread. and You'll find thisand the opera mini browser is the generic version right?-i downloaded the advance MIDP QUOTE(IcedNyior @ Jan 21 2009, 04:49 PM) mine's ok. using maxis as well. I still havent fully explored TrekBuddy because Im not a heavy GPS user but i find that it is rather slow to connect to the gps.btw, for the trekbuddy, unzip all the files. then upload the contents of 'untar version' folder into trekbuddy/maps/ then open up the app. Press the middle button > Options > Load Atlas and load the file named "A_klang_valley_gm.tba" Then u choose which "layer" you want. if im not mistaken, layers are the zoom. This opens up the offline maps. More later, am still testing it out. Extra reading : http://wiki.trekbuddy.net/index.php/Using QUOTE(shakiraa @ Feb 7 2009, 01:56 AM) Yes. I've surfed the internet with this phone in kedai mamaks with free wifi. so far so good. im using opera mini to surf, its a really good application |

QUOTE(Bigfoot-X @ Feb 7 2009, 10:19 AM) Good morning everyone, Anybody tested out the Day & Night / Everchanging themes that davidmak shared? can put ur pics in spoiler?Tempted but worried about the risks involved On a sidenote, I was so used to Photobucket's double click to auto-copy links and they've removed that function?! i hate the fact that u hv to click the thumbnails then it'll dropdown to show the links. previously it was automatically showed under the thumbnails Added on February 7, 2009, 10:38 amyour photos are really nice la. bright and vibrant colours This post has been edited by IcedNyior: Feb 7 2009, 10:38 AM |
