Is C905's flash makes Red-eye easily? Mine C901 yes...always ruined my night pictures with "ghost-like" red eyes...especially if it was a group photo...

The C905 i am using has some weird problem also.

1. Zoom in/out button not working - sent back for warranty.
2. Keypad problem, 1,4,6 and 7 losing tactile feeling.
3. Recently, when it rings, there is no ringtone. Phone just vibrate. Speaker phone not working also. - sent back warranty.
4. GPS not working. - got fed up and did not sent back for warranty.

This is the only phone which i bought that has so much issue.

Occasionally these weird stuff happens :
1. When calling, the person picking up the call cannot hear me (worst) or something they say the voice is very very soft like i am speaking very far away from the phone.

This is the first time i am using SE phone, and i gotta say the phone is promising when it works without any problem, when it start to go crazy that is when you start pulling your hair.

I would say don't buy, unless you are extremely lucky and got a problem free unit.

please check the manufactured date. the 2009+ batch should be problem free(at least). the SEUS update is according to your phone country of origin. when you start SEUS with your phone plucked in, in will scan for firmware and the country will be written in abbreviation like CHI or something la. i forgot. when i bought this phone the problems it give me is keypad loose tactile feeling fast and the slider is not sturdy. my phone now is like a franckenstein phone, parts i choose from other phone i know is no problem like some from W910(still the best SE phone). you all could try this when fixing.

At around 1.3 to 1.4k this seems to be a good deal...

Anyone else who got their C905 production date 2009+? Can share your stories with me? I'm concerned on the amount of issues a lot have with the phone before...

I'm still using my trusted W800i =)
Rock solid phone... bought at 2k on the first day of launch itself, no problem at all even after drop to road, drop to a bit watery drain, threw it on the ground also got sleep.gif'

yeahh!! the c905 oso have this problem. one night, i got outdoor function. all my friends ask me to take pictures of them coz they noe i got 8MP camera phone.

i was proud at first. but, after taking the pictures and view at my pc, i felt MALU GILA doh.gif when all my pictures have red-eye effect.

i oredi change the setting to "twilight potrait" and red-eye reduction.

i swear i'll never use my camera in dark places accept for my personal use.

next time, if ur friends ask u to take pictures of them in night, tell them in advance so they will not get their hope sky high..

(i still embarrass until today cry.gif )

i dont know how it performs in clubs, but i did mentioned "outdoors". minimal source of light. the flash is too bright bcoz there're no other lightsource and i think that makes it become red-eyed picture cry.gif

yeah the earpiece is the major problem for this phone besides it's wobblely slider. everything else seems ok. but the earpiece and slider is HUGE problem for me. sweat.gif

btw, how much the cost to baiki earpiece? mine was rosak oso but i dont have time to get it to repair. is it hardware problem? or can we solve it by flashing? icon_question.gif

it wont be as good as the conventional point and shoot camera. but it is one of the best (8mp) camera PHONE they have on market. The video recording capabilities is standard with the exception of 30fps. its a decent phone and its even better now with the price drop. Go for it. rclxms.gif thumbup.gif
