How do you check this exactly? I am a new user of C905 also, would like to know how to check production date.

Which batch has SUPPOSEDLY fixed the speaker issue?

if you want problem free* SE phone with good camera, try change to C901..

well it was posted in one of the earlier c905 threads that (or this . obe ithink ) , the phones above the production date of 08W50 (year08 week 50 ) should have the speaker problem fixed .l
to check off the phone n take out the batt . then look at the numbers @ the back . should have one code reading **W0* . thats the production date

Yea u r right.Those phone manufacture before 08W50 (which should be ar around February) will mostly hav receiver and keypad problem.U can check the production date at the behind.

mine is the first batch set..
everytime send for warranty only for two problems, which are speaker/receiver and keypad..

maybe they couldn`t sell it out or something . mine`s a black ap set , only drawback being i got no sms chat view despite upgrading the software to the new vrsion yesterday . lol

Yea some didnt get.But in my case,i got the sms conversation even before i update it.But the software version of my phone tat time is the old 1.So weird.


One more thing,there's a new software update for C905...it was released 20th this month.And i saw at the 1st page about the trek buddy thing.Anyone used it before?Does it charge?

hi all , i plan to buy this phone.is overall good ? i worry about the gps.i used to garmin mobile xt and i feel it good.how does this phone gps compare to nokia garmin xt mobile?

They have flashed menu and wallpapers,but not wat i wanted.I wan my wallpapers keep changing like Window 7's desktop.

Overall this phone is quite good.But if u bought the early batch,u'll be facing a lot of problems.This 1 doesnt have garmin..mayb trek buddy can do the job but i am not sure whether trek buddy charges anot.
