What's the current latest software version for the c905? I feel that my phone is having quite a lot of issues, seems like a bug with the software.

why not just update via SEUS? it will automatically provide u with the latest FW

Currently i am looking for a map/GPS software like garming for C905?So far i only know Trek Buddy...but i am not sure whether they charged u whenever u use the application.

Anybody has problems with their keypad lighting..?
Mine keep going off even though dark already quite annoying..
Only the keypad lighting goes off the lcd ok..

problem occurs to my c 905, ap set..

always hang nowadays..
wander why..

got warranty, send back factory.. (keypad problem + hang)
complaint liou.. today gimme back, same problem, no update software also..then now send back again.. seinz..

say help me do nicely but no do.. haiz..

garmin cant use in c905/se /java

Garmin is not compatible with C905, but you can use Wisepilot, the UI is identical to Garmin You can pre-download maps (useful especially when you go overseas) so that you'll purely use the sattelite signal and won't be charged for anything else when you actually use it. And please remember to switch off a-GPS because it uses data from your network provider which you'll be charged for as well

I am owning a C901 now and really fascinated with the Xenon Flash (my first time using Xenon Flash phone) Am following your W995 thread both here and esato (thinking to get W995), but still can't convince myself to LED flash.

If the problems are not congenital (ie existing defects from the electronic parts by manufacturer) there may be hope but chances are, they've already stocked all the parts up in a big bulk to save cost so the only thing they can control now is assembly quality. But you might want to keep surveying around to see if aything has improved.

Yes, actually once you've gone Xenon you can never go back. I was eyeing both C901 and Satio but I'm afraid it would limit my phone preferences in the future, plus I love the challenge. I'll post a comparison shots between my W995 and my friend's C905. Even without the flash, C905 has the advantage over W995 and I think SE reduced the cam driver quality on purpose because if you look at Satio photo samples, they look eerily similar to W995's cam module
