well update with SEUS..sometimes can harm your phone...just send it to centre...anyway..how about updating through phone..it is the easiest method..

Finally, my earphone spoilt edi ytday. Firstly ytday I thought network prob so no sound, today friend called, no sound again, checked, then only realize it's spoilt.

My phone more than 3 months edi, asked some shops, they said warranty for earphone is only forst 1st 3 months Needa repair.

Anyone got any idea approx. how much will it cost for the earphone repairing?

*Btw sending to warranty, how long does it takes for them to fix ah? Friend tell me his phone but other model, send in, waited almost for a month only get back. 1 month without phone can die =(

Btw, it's a ribbon, not the earphone I asked some shops. The ribbon that spoilt caused the earphone to not function. Anyway, I think I'll consult at SE service centre tomorrow, and if it's expensive/takes a long time to repair, I might as well send for warranty.

@nixonyang: yeah, unrar the klang valley maps along wif maketar.bat and another tar related file into a folder 1st. then only double click the maketar.bat.

hey will be making my decision on the purchase of this phone soon....is this phone still experiencing all the endless problems? if not then I'll go back to my c902 which I love so much......I've personally seen the phone and felt that it's too plasticky....any comments?

Sigh, has anybody tried utilizing the Wayfinder Navigator yet? Can't seem to get the maps to be downloaded onto the phone

I don't really get your question. What I did for my Trekbuddy maps was to 'tar' them and copy them over into the memory card. The Klang Valley map isn't really complete though.

So far has the Wayfinder been satisfactory for you? I'm planning to get 36 months (not much of a price diff compared to 12 months). Sheesh.. if only I could get it to work now.

i totally gave up using the wayfinder or the trekbuddy.....

after my bro in law showed me how easy it is to use google maps on his iphone...i decided to use google map on my phone oso...

pay oso pay la....dun care already...at least not much headache compared to the other 2

Even if you don't use often, a short period of downloading the maps on the fly drains money like crazy!
Owh, another great finding. I didn't know it's that cheap to subscribe a 5MB data pack. But how long could 5MB last anyway?
Exactly my point, my usage was approximately at RM30 or so now from using Gmaps alone

Hi blurjoey, I have some question. Does using Wayfinder costs money? I am not talking about the cost of buying license, I am just wondering if it's using Internet for navigation.

I understand that Trekbuddy is free, but Wayfinder is much more superior than Trekbuddy isn't it? Besides, how much is the subscription cost for Wayfinder?

blurjoey: I'm still in doubt. I've turned off A-GPS but it still is connecting via GPRS. Anyway after copying the maps into the 'other' folder, do I have to load/locate the maps using Wayfinder? Doesn't seem to automatically load the maps for me.

Oh, cool. I see the irritating globe once in awhile too, still feel that it's actually downloading something..although the consumption is no longer that much.  I've read in the manual that the downloaded map requires to be 'activated', but I just can't find the option to do so.

I've read bout the package on maxis' official website, but there's no instructions on how to subscribe the package 

Any plans on subscribing bro? Or u plan to crack it right away?   
Bought mine about RM1720, Midland set two weeks back.  Atlantis SS2 was selling about RM1600 that time for original. I could imagine the price would've dropped slightly by now.

Camera's awesome. (Is it just me, or I've a dejavu that I've answered this question before..  )
But, in the wrong hands (such as mine).. it still could produce ordinary pictures easily surpassed by lower camera specifications.
