Not really care about the player >_> problem is that when playing video's or sometimes for no reason @ all the nokia logo suddenly come out and restart the whole phone

maybe cos the bitrate too high?

guys..having problem here wit my phone..yesterday bought a new nokia bh-215 bluetooth headset..when i want to pair booth of the device,my phone didnt request any of the passcode of the headset..so,it stated the pairing as successful..but when i want to connect the phone to the headset,an error msg will come out.."unable to create bluetooth connection"..any of u had encountered this problem??..any solution?

just wondering, does the slide feel solid? does it fit perfectly when it's closed and wont feel loose when you slide it up?

Feels solid to me..doesnt feel loose when you slide it up and does fit perfectly

try to unpair (delete the device from the list) and repair again.
now no longer need to key in the passcode since all is 0000 anyway.
how do u connect phone to headset? you just need to turn on ur bluetooth and start making calls.
when its connected, it will display (B) on top right.


having said that, i am using my 5730 with motorola bts and sometimes will experience crackle sound. dunno how to fix also.

i just got a 5730.
im really beginning to think that the cpu speed is not at 369mhz.
startsup too slow for a brand new phone compared to E66 or even my older N82...i tried 2 different new ones also same slow startup.
those who have installed the phoneinfo software, can u all see if its 369mhz or 192mhz like some ppl have said.

and what a short usb cable, good thing can still use the one in my N82.

also do u all use the generic one? cos i dont see one for 5730.

i was just thinking to change from N82 to 5730..

N82 is still a good phone.
if you still have it, then dont change.
i lost my N82, so instead of buying N82 again, i looked at either E71, 5800 or 5730 as replacement since about same price.
i didnt like the 5800 cos i know i will miss a regular keypad, while E71 is just too wide.
so went for 5730 since can still operate with one hand easier when sms or calling.
and of cos one of the main reasons to change is if you want the qwerty pad, so be easier for surfing and typing when in landscape mode.

yeah...the main function that attracts me is the qwerty pad..and the price is acceptable..n97 is way too expensive for me..but just saw the upcoming n97 mini...now thinking whether to wait for it to launch 1st..

received my 5730 after breaking fast. bought it as it the best business+pleasure phone and the price is right

the keypad is the real magic. i can now type faster than never before.
basically my finger just swipe on the keyboard and press when necessary. that makes some swoosh sound like kungfu sound

does 5730 have good sound as 5800?

very good phone except the camera.. image quality is not good as N73, 5800 or 6500 slide (also 3.2mp carl ziess lens)... i think the worst among the nokia 3.2mp camera phone.
