Just done with "The Garden of Evening Mists" by Tan Twan Eng.
Very thick with our local essence.
Highly recommended for a read.

Now reading "The Gift of Rain" by Tan Twan Eng as well.

I'm currently reading these two books:
1) Start Your Own Business by Entrepreneur Press - I've just started my online book store based in Sandakan, Sabah. So need to learn how to manage my new start up. smile.gif

2) The White Masai by Corrinne Hofmann - I couldn't put this book down while I was only browsing through my inventory of books. I was really touched by the courage Corrinne had to stay in Kenya with her African husband. But too bad she left him at the end because of culture difference...Still reading and touched by every word she wrote.

Just finished reading both Divergent and Insurgent. Awesome books. Can't wait for the third book to complete the trilogy.

Rogue Raider by Nigel Barley. Historical reimagination of a German WW1 destroyer operating in the waters of Penang and Singapore hunted by the British and Japanese. If you can live with the heavy British grammar, it’s an interesting book.
