i have a NTSC- J wii and just buy new 32" LCD TV..
when i play my wii on this lcd.. there
graphic is to bad specially when play a racing game..
my question is.. its needed me to change my tv cabel?
currently i am using conventional wire (red, yellow n white cable)
for connect my wii to LCD TV..

shud use component cables, the one with 5 cables.

use component cable and set your wii to 480p.

as what everyone has mentioned... component cable.

TV Setting --> 480p;
Wii Setting --> EDTV (16:9);

may i know.. how much usually that cable price?

Third party component cable can be as low as US$4.99- that's about RM15-RM20. If buy locally, third party cable costs at least RM40. Ori component cable costs RM130++ .

And I agree with everyone. Get component cable and set Wii to 480p. Also set to widescreen if your display is widescreen. You may also need to tweak the settings of the TV, especially the sharpness, to bring out the details.

I have no problem playing my on LCD TV with the original VGA(?) 3 color cable.
Maybe the problem come from your TV itself?

Playing using composite + stereo sound shouldn't cause any problem, but the quality will be improved vastly by switching to component cables not only because of better color separation but also enabling progressive scan

maybe it's just me, but the picture quality seems to look nicer when I switch to interlace using component cable on a 32" screen. the edges looks smoother.

I have a 46" Samsung A650 and i wonder whether will the WII graphic looks bad? As far as i know the graphic is not as good as the competitors, XB and PS.

And also i plan to buy a Wii for this coming valentine for my wife but i am confuse.
I ask shop, there are 2 types. One is English version ori from US and another one Japan unit converted to English. price is about 500 difference.
So i just wonder anybody can give me advise on this? the cheaper the better but how about reliability?

Yeah, but my PS2 is currently plus in to the component port right now.
Too lazy to change all the time and dont wanna risk downgrading the graphic by using a cable switcher.

Maybe is just my TV being too small, 19inch, to notice the difference.

I also using 19" LCD TV. But the difference is quite noticeable between composite and component. When using composite image is quite blur, but change to component and turn on 480p mode image noticeably sharper. Maybe it depends on TV make/model and how well it's chipset does scaling, and the deinterlace method it uses (since 720p/1080i TVs have a native resolution of 1360x768, it needs to upscale signal).

i already change my cable to component cable and select 480p in wii setting..
as per advise from u.. and i notice there is a lot of different between using
composite cable and component..

i also have see in internet that there is one cable that we can used VGA port in LCD TV..
its any different using either VGA cable or component cable on ur LCD??

I wouldn't recommend using the VGA cable in all honesty. Wii outputs 480p through component signal only, and it has to convert to RGB if you want to hook it up using VGA. And signals conversion will only lead to one result, deterioration. The only time I would recommend using one is when you your TV/monitor doesn't accept component input
