question regarding wii on LCD TV

Third party component cable can be as low as US$4.99- that's about RM15-RM20. If buy locally, third party cable costs at least RM40. Ori component cable costs RM130++ .
And I agree with everyone. Get component cable and set Wii to 480p. Also set to widescreen if your display is widescreen. You may also need to tweak the settings of the TV, especially the sharpness, to bring out the details.

When using composite image is quite blur, but change to component and turn on 480p mode image noticeably sharper. Maybe it depends on TV make/model and how well it's chipset does scaling, and the deinterlace method it uses (since 720p/1080i TVs have a native resolution of 1360x768, it needs to upscale signal).
