I only hard reset my phone once (take out battery, put back in)
when phone hang after i pressed camera button too many time

so lucky meh. hrm..mine got problem again. in da middle of nowhere it appears - no network -    then have to on-off over n over again. kinda annoying.

hahah. well good to know its still working. but its quite sad that UIQ has slowed down/died. last month i read in a magazine that some SE phone might be coming out with UIQ again. so im confused as to whats going on.

I traded in my g900 after using for 2 weeks. Best price offered among all the shops... less than rm700.

  cannot be la..i thot uiq company bankrupt ady? hmm, but if it's for real damn good la..haha..
im not interested to find any new games ady..got asphalt4 n picodrive enuff la for me..i want new apps and mods, especially mods la..begin to missing d fun of modding my w810 before..i thot uiq got more things to mod..zzz

Hi, I have posted my phone problem here before and here's the result.

My phone has been 'repairing' since May 09. What the guy told me :

1. My warranty has been voided because I dropped the phone which I didn't.
2. They unable to settle my phone as they couldn't flash it.
3. They said that it is the board failure. To repair it, it costs about RM500~RM700.
4. The phone is now still at the shop.

My phone couldn't start after SEUS update, which was failed at 90++% and my phone is 6 month old only...

Is anyone out there can give me some further advices?

Already buy it and it cost just rm790..  But that amoi gave me rm740.. That amoi said it's symbian phone and the truth is i don't know what is  symbian???  But I'm quite happy with it although it's hard to find a game and a theme for this phone.. And I don't know what software is good with my g900...  Maybe some1 can help me.. recommend sumthin..  

i just want to rant for a while.

spend like 10min trying to get the right position to charge my phone.  That fast-port thing is really problem.  all 4 of my SE phone give me the same headache.  Good thing the EU have adopted mini USB as std charging interface for European.  Hopefully, we get the USB too.

symbian is not dead hehehe. WOOHOO! the new sony ericsson satio (idou) is coming out end of the year.

@pad11. advice? be patient. the phone will seem slow for first time symbian/touch screen users. and make sure you close the programs after you open them. this slows down the phone. and eats up battery.

Satio will be using S60 OS.

Btw guys, i need some advice here.
I'm a little in a dilemma choosing between the G900 and the NK 5800XM.
Both phones have some unique features which the other doesn't.
The G900 AP price seems to be really tempting, however i've heard that the AP sets tend to be pretty problematic.

If you guys were to make a choice between the Ori G900 and the Ori 5800XM, which will you guys go for?

Ya, i've read through the pages and read about mar90's GFs case.
Btw, mar90, which SE Service centre did you send the phone to?
I've been on SE all these while and i found out that different service center does perform differently.
For an example, if you're in Penang, by all means avoid the Accord Service centre in Komtar, always send your phone to Mobilecomm at Abu Siti lane.
I had terrible experiences with Accord just by calling up enquiring for a phone service.

Well forgotten, you got a point there, the 5800XM ori is now cheaper than the G900 ori, which makes me in an even worse dilemma...

hi all, havent come here for a while. i got 2 major dissappointment with this hp,

1. SMS always "stucked". ppl sms me, their phone showed sent successfully but i never receive until i restart my hp. that is 1 major letdown as call and sms is extremely important to me.

2. some mp4 can play some cant. im not sure if there's any different in my .mp4 but as far as user frenly is concerned, i think this sux not to be able to play more than half videos i uploaded, it will take the hp to load a while, then it will auto restart "for better performance" wtf. anyway #1 still is the major letdown

both 5800 and g900 got terrible track records. dunno what happened with these two phones. my choice is buttons versus no buttons.

from what i heard g900 AP is problematic. some people cant get reception. some cant seem to get wifi working. battery K.O. early. what not. i guess its all just luck.
sms stuck? update your phone and if its still gets stuck try different software like mms and sms diary to read your sms's

there are many different versions of mp4. try to find out which one works best and convert the videos to this format.

My G900 is spoilt again. The phone cant turn on. i bought this phone from lowyat under Pacific (AP). Really disappoint me...

But i using until today no problem, i luv this phone much because the spec and function can classified as a high-end function and spec phone except do not have GPS unless u buy a bluetooth GPS receiver connect on it which only COST RM180.

i just bought brown colour G900i yesterday..i dont know which phone to buy and only decide to buy G900i after i read this thread

i've already download a theme and install it, but only the "background" is changed, do i need to install the capsswitch and swissmanager to change the icon? i've also d/l this 2 programs by the way but havent install it yet
