which one should we look at when someone's talking about that firmware version eh?

PDA software version or Phone software version or CDA version?

I'm having this

PDA - R6K842

Phone Software - R9N002

CDA - R7A

@Gai6677 : i have the same PDA and Phone version like u except my CDA is R14A

i dunno. in the older thread we looked at the CDA version. but im not sure which one actually matters more.

Hmm.... Maybe I'll post up a sample photo captured with my phone later and see if you guys have the same quality as it.

ive read fr somewhere (forgot the link d) tat the PDA ver. 842 only 'fixes' four specifics matter, none which was not significant so i didn't update it heh

I was thinking are other g900 are like that. Anyone know how to set camera album which is not in month basis in Media menu?

mine just show monthly album and however I create folders of pictures in file manager, it still showing monthly folder.

is this phone worth getting? i am thinking either this or k850.

guys, i just managed to installed iphone lock 0.5 from kwull. works perfectly good gracious^^

Added on January 27, 2009, 7:13 pmidk about the k850. but if u should like touchscrn, the g900 all the way. warning tho, touchscrn can be quite fun. tho u should know the g900 cam maybnot as good as k series.

firstly, both are totally different from each other. k850 focuses on camera thingy while g900i is more to business mode. if u are into camwhoring, of course k850 is definitely much worth than g900i because g900i's camera even though its 5mp too but still k850i's quality is much2 better.

g900i focuses more on businessman thingy if u ask me. with touch screen and stylus, wifi included, notes, pdf reader, businnes card scanner and all. but the music quality and picture quality is still ok for me. not that bad lah.

in my opinion and my needs, obviously g900i > k850i

IMHO for the price. this phone is definately value for money. around RM900 for an AP set. and it got most things except for GPS.
but it is touchscreen. and it runs UIQ. IDK about the K850. so cannot compare. sorry.

below is a comparison of the two phones using sony ericsson website. you can DL that and check it out. there are some errors though for some reason.
like it says no web browser. but it does have one. and also it says no music player. but then media player does play music. unless it means like no dedicated walkman software. also says no phone book. hahahahaha. but yeah. hope that helps.

i've read about the k850 thread, and seems it has alot of problem. On the other hand, G900 looks great with almost all features are there....
need to checkout lowyat for this phone one of these days. gaga.
