QUOTE(malaysiangroup @ Jan 28 2010, 11:14 PM) i've bought a wooden house for my puppy frm pets wonderland and housed at portico area, but my puppy refusing to utilise it and all the time will be roaming n sleeping on the floor at portico area. Perhaps you can house your maltese puppy indoor instead. Firstly the cleanliness since it is a long coat white dog. If your dog is exposed to the uncertain weather outside, especially when it is rainy days, it tends to get skin problems. Secondly safety reason. Dognap cases happen even for large breeds! Toy breeds are way too easy a target. Lastly but not least important, maltese is a very fragile breed and need lots of attentions and not as independent as other larger breeds. Placing a maltese outdoor might stress them out and stress is one of the main reason to make a dog's immune system falls which make the dog prone to diseases. |

Yes. Agreed with u. Must think properly b4 having a pet dont u think about all his problem n your problem (busy year) b4 u get him??haihz.. I guess this should be fine. As long as the the new owner loves "it" and take good care of "it". But.. when the relationship has built. How can return back easily? |

Miko_chan : u can try junnie's suggestion thou. Not sure if its works for aiko but it works for my girl xD last time she will bark whenever I put her inside pen n go out n once she saw me back home she will bark excitedly like u said, painful bark. What I did is before go out I told her I will come back in a while n when I came back home I will ask her to calm down as she's too excited. Honestly, me myself duno how to help you cuz I thought my girl is the worst case but seems like mine not that 'hard' eh? xD
okay.. my suggestion is, try open a song n let aiko hear it whenever u're goin out =] Autumn been listening to songs since she was a pup till now. Whenever I'm goin out, I will open song for her n she wont feel anxious while I'm not at home |
