QUOTE(adrianng1996 @ Sep 15 2011, 11:59 AM) my maltese now at 4 months age still teething and likes to bite my hand/shirt/pants/leg whatever...i understand since now its still teething...but i wonder when its teeth fully grown, will biting people be a habit to it? Did you buy something for him/her to bite? puppies tend to bites people hand/legs as part of playing and teething. Mine use to do that as well but after I told her to not biting me after awhile she will stop doing that unless when its playing time and when I invite her to do so then she's allowed to play chasing and biting my hands. Not in the wrong way but its what I did to drained her excessive energy. I;m sure CyaNide27 understand what I mean any photos for your babies? |

QUOTE(CyaNide27 @ Sep 17 2011, 11:05 PM) i did pm to ask steven that day.... he said he will let go if got good price.... means no hopes of getting her in the near future.... Maybe you just wait patiently for a while? he's currently having new batch of puppy and I think this batch will sold off fast. If no one interested or cant afford the gal maybe he might sell her to you? Since he knows you so if gal gal is with you, it'll be easier if he wants to meet her in the future hehe In the mean time I'll prayed hard that no one gonna get her except you xDbtw, I went for both shows day xD It's confirmed that Saturday is for large breed and Sunday for toy breed rights? If it true, then going for both days is better for my team to do the report cause they can write the differences on preparation for both large and small breeds |

QUOTE(tjaime1984 @ Sep 19 2011, 02:39 PM) Here is WeeBo..coming 6 month in this month...sorry been bz lately... Weebo looks so white, clean and prettier! How I wish Autumn can stop whining then she will have no stains » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « As for the mouth turn yellow, I cant advice much until I know the reason why its happen. Normally the mouth area if always wet, it will turn the white into yellow. So far Autumn's never encounter anything except her stains, Jasmine used to looks like that if you've seen her old photo before and now its get better althou not fully white yet but it doesnt look as yellow/brownish like last time. Reason maybe because I let them drink from water bottle instead of bowl. I dont like the idea of letting them drink from bowl and wet their mouth. It could also because of food. Since I hand feed them when I fed barf and if I fed kibbles I will wipe their mouth after ate. Sometimes the mouth area will turn yellow after their meal, worst if u soak the kibbles. QUOTE(alkt @ Sep 20 2011, 03:05 PM) Imagine the things she'll do just to get my attention It's normal when its puppy time. Mostly is because their teething so they will put whatever they can find into their mouth. It's not merely asking for you attention 1) Grab my indoor slipper into her cage, slipper as big as her 2) Grab my front door floor mat to kitchen toilet 3) Grab slippers from toilet kitchen and place them at the front door 4) Removed my subwoofer power cable (female side at the cable) And there was once at my parent's house, my dad told her that my mom will beat her cos she took a cloth from kitchen into her cage in the living room. Guess what happen? She go put back the cloth What you can do is buy some toys for her and always use the toy to re-direct her whenever she took something she's not supposed to. Not to brag but I'm lucky to have maltese who doesn't bite anything ever since she was a puppy Be careful with what I bold. If you dont want her to get hurt of simply took anything, buy play pen and she could roam free inside without hurting both her and your house's stuff. I said this because my friend's pom bite some electricity cable at her house while she's not at home and resulted in being electrify until death. So please be careful in setting up a boundaries for a small puppy. Unless your dog already know your house rules, it should be fine letting them roaming freely inside the house. Nic: It turns out only Autumn is on heat not both |

QUOTE(CyaNide27 @ Sep 20 2011, 06:20 PM) haha.... last time seraph loved to lick ice cubes.... but not for teething problem, is coz weather hot, so she enjoy the coolness.... =.= At first I thought Jasmine is having her period because that day she was inside the cage alone and there's some stains inside her pen. But the next day I dont see anything and I thought she might have dry-blood which mean she's having her period but no blood is coming out. Then I showered both last Saturday still with the mind Jasmine still on heat and Autumn did as well. But last nite when I took each of them out to groom I found out only Autumn is on heat while Jasmine is fine. I can't really see it just by looking at them because with their sort-off long coat, I cant see the private part whether it swollen or not. What I did is just take their front legs and make them stand for a clearer pictures. If the coat around their private area is dirty then its confirm they on heat and ice cubes more effective to stop her heavy panting compared to just water.... muchan, how do you tell which of them is the one on heat? just by looking at the swollen private parts or got other indication? especially when got more than 1, blood stain all over also duno from who.... So far I confirm Autumn is the one having period now as for Jasmine, I'm pretty sure she's not on heat now but need to monitor at least 1-2day to confirm myself she's not having dry-blood |

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Sep 20 2011, 07:27 PM) Alkt, You can left your puppy at home while you're working but I would advise you to get him a play pen instead of caging him all day when you're not at home. You can always put his cage inside play pen. With this he got more space to roams instead of sitting inside the cage wait you to come back from home. This is what I did with my puppy last time when I need to let her stay at home while I went to class. I never like the idea of caging them inside a cage thus I always go for play pen. Not to say cage training is not good but I just dont like the cage with bar step like what most people buy. I prefer the type of cage which they could stay inside comfortably without thinking need to put their paws in between the bar just to make sure their legs doesn't fall down and get hurtContinue from dog food thread, I also think to leave him alone from 8.30am to 6pm. Curently, he is at my mother house which is quite troublesome to always go to pick him up after work. Cause at mother house they always feed him junk food, and give anything he want. No teaching at all hence making him more n more naughty liau. At her hse he is being treated like king. At my hse, i always press him cause wznt him to learn to be obidient. |

I dont think tear stains have anything to do with area around her mouth turn yellow. Tear stains means tear stains and mostly it happen around the eyes area only. Since all the possibilities I mentioned are not the cause, the only source of its turning yellow, is either, she drools (can turn fur around her mouth to yellow/wet), or cleans her self as in tend to lick the area around her mouth.

I assuming she plays with water or lick herself..coz before i wipe her, o felt the fur is wet..althought im using whitening shampoo it only works when bath after that all back again..body & legs part ok..just the face will make her messy.. Nicole: what time will u be at the show tomorrow? I'll be there around 11.30 I think. |

QUOTE(tjaime1984 @ Sep 27 2011, 02:48 PM) i fed her Excel brand vitamin... I fed drontal as dewormer and heartgard. Buu never fed both together. You can actually fed either one, its okay. I used to fed heartgard only but bought some Drontal from the Pets World. Drontal a lil bit ok for me than heartgard cuz its a tablet and 1 tablet I can feed A&J each half tablet so its not so costly compare to heartgard xDAs vet doc said, heartgard can start feed even when puppy..there is 6 tablet in 1 box so each month once then it can last until half-1 year. I do feed weebo deworm tablet..do i need to fed the heartgard as well..both also action for worms rite? The things is, with Heartgard they can eat themself but with Drontal I need to force feed them lol This post has been edited by muchan86: Sep 27 2011, 04:08 PM |

QUOTE(XOXO Pet Store @ Sep 28 2011, 01:44 AM) Anyone got experience of when comb maltese's hair downwards, it wont lie down flat? Like there's static on some hair which makes it stand out compared to others. What comb r u talking about? Pin brush or the flat comb? I used CC Pin brush and so far so good.. Autumn's coat will never stay flat down due to her cotton type so sometimes I dont really pay attention to that. One thing for sure, I bought conditioning spray from Kinzonu and always used it before I comb their hair. The results is good and it makes their coat looks much more softer than before Any products or ways to reduce it? I'm using CC comb btw. |

QUOTE(XOXO Pet Store @ Sep 28 2011, 06:51 PM) Its the comb of all same length but its divided into 2 parts, one of it is more close to each other. Don't know what it's called. I think you're talking about the flat comb or the so-called greyhound comb xD there are also anti-static spray but I dont want to use so many hair products for them as use to much will cause more harm then good -.-"Only some of the top hair stands out compared to others, haiz. Muchan, u spray the conditioner edi, got blow dry it? Or just leave it? The spray I got from Kinzonu is pretty good and I like it, just collected my 2nd bottle from him last saturday. The conditioner spray doesn't need to blow dry. It will dry itself pretty fast. I used it when its grooming time of the day and use it after I showered and blow dried them. It's pretty good actually. If you want I gave you some to try and see if its work |

QUOTE(iluv2zzz @ Sep 29 2011, 01:30 AM) drontal and heartgard are different things my dear... drontal are for intestinal worms that is recommended to take every 3-6 months once, while heartgard is for heartworm that is needed to be taken every month! Ya I know QUOTE(XOXO Pet Store @ Sep 29 2011, 01:18 AM) Aiyo, so tempted to buy...... If you want the whitening powder I gave you some la... I bought mine from Nicole and its really not decreasing! xD but I dont apply everyday The powder is the madan whitening powder? Did the anti static spray works? And how u used magic mist on seraph previously? I used to applied Magic mist on autumn like crazy lol it works on reducing the tangle fur but never realize on the static thing la, mostly is for jasmine's bad breath -.-" you should try kinzonu's spray. I like it a lot and I think it really made both A&J coat became much more nicer than before. He mentioned to me his ingredients (he made n mix the spray himself) is finishing soon and new products are getting more expensive. If you want to order better order soon if not later more expensive |

QUOTE(XOXO Pet Store @ Sep 29 2011, 11:52 AM) Great, pass me some when u are dropping by my shop. I got not much time to apply so many things to their fur nowadays, just keep reminding myself, need to comb everyday. No need see u at shop, tuesday I pass some to you xD Yes I spray, wait awhile only comb their hair and as I said earlier I dont know if its helps in anti-static as thats not my purpose buying magic mist xD I bought it to help in reducing their tangle fur as well as jasmine's bad breath. I think you should try Kinzonu's spray, thou I'm not sure if its help with the static problem as he did asked me if I want to buy another anti-static spray which is slightly more expensive. Since I'm doing well with the current spray I just continue using it. I still left some from my last bottle which I think can last for few more weeks? If want I gave it to u on tuesday as well cause I got new bottle d The magic mist, u spray and u comb? It dont dry out so fast wor~ I just bought the spray from Shayne the other day, and its not reducing even i use it almost everyday, now I'm so tempted to buy more, ish ish... the spray actually smells nice and make the coat became so smooth and it does dry faster than magic mist!
