hey dear...
pls oso quote me the price of the powder and the cream that u bought from kinzonu

it took me almost a day to sit through her belongings, deciding which to keep as memories or which cant keep and need to sell off or else it will expire.... it wasnt easy.... her things are still all over the house, no heart to pack them up.... some suggested that i keep them immediately to prevent memories but i decided maybe later on when i'm ready.... i'll just post it here for transparency sake.... i'm not planning to make any money out of it, afterall they were her belongings.... most items still have more than half but i'll just let go at half price unless it really still have alot then will less abit or still unopened then will full price.... u can actually calculate the ratio as i made it a point to document each purchase i made for her in her file, so i have accurate price of the items when i bought them....

The whitening powder is from Madan, normally i will spray magic mist or coat handler anti static detangler spray, clean her face area and comb neatly, then i use her towel to absorb any excess wetness as some times i will spray too much, then comb in some whitening powder to make the hair whiter n dry up the hair completely.... Fred use it for almost 2 years d still have alot....

No you're not. Up till today this is how I played with autumn  laugh.gif
She knows she cannot simply bite me but when I played with her sometimes accidentally she will bite me la then I will tell her "cannot bite, go sayang" then she will lick back the area she bite. Every time play also like that haha

You still around till beginning of July? I finish my exam on the 1st of July then maybe can go cod with u after that smile.gif
*
i will let her bite 1, unless she sink too hard then only scold.... sort of teach her that she can nibble but not bite as if wanna tear my flesh out.... yes i'll still be around.... till 8 or 9th july....

Actually slicker brush is not good for maltese coat n skin.... If have tangles, is best to use the 'greyhound comb' and a good detangler spray and slowly comb out the matts.... I know most groomers will use slicker to tear out the matt so last time i used to comb out tangles n matts on seraph before sending her to the groomer....

last time i touch the slicker feels kinda sharp and i read that is mostly for double coated dogs to remove the undercoat.... so i dun dare use for her.... that time fred taught me to use comb slowly pick the tangles out, so everytime she will patiently lie there let me groom her unless i pull too hard then she will wanna growl & snap me....

Loong1111, U put both together? It will cause them to mate..u want to breed them izzit?I also planning to change to All system brand as recommended from mostly maltese owner. The food i still giving my dog SP still can last for another months, after that will change to somthing holistic.

Muchan86, can u show me how is pin brush & rat tail & also greyhound comb & also the Madan comb. I only have slicker brush & a flat comb as my fren say i have to use the flat comb to comb out those the matted fur & slicker comb for the leg. i use both the same time.

Cyanide27, i would like to try on the all system shampoo coz weebo getting brownish & my fren advise me to get all system shampoo asap. If there is any way(post or COD at other place) so i can get it & start using it.

Friends, can post some pic of the comb coz i'll be keeping weebo hair long, so i need a good comb that can minimize the tangle & easy for her & me too..Thanks..

the pictures i just randomly find from internet 1....

Madan Greyhound comb (for untangling body fur)
http://petnessandbeauty.com/product_info.p...products_id=432
got another that look like this comb but much smaller size is for moustache n face area

Madan Rat Tail comb (for doing top knot or create centre line along back bone)
http://petnessandbeauty.com/product_info.p...products_id=404

Madan Pin brush
http://www.toplinepet.com/
different colours have different firmness, depend on the coat type, can read from the link

Madan band scissors (the tiny hook at the end of the scissors is to pull out the rubberband for cutting so u wont accidently snip off fur)
http://www.petgear.com.au/index.php/page/s...1e1774888ebb0ba

other things you need for keeping long hair is good quality rubberbands (not rough and tight, is flexible and surface smooth), whitening powder, good hair spray and hair lotion

all my madan comb and whitening powder is get from seapark pet supplies shop in PJ while band scissors (need wait very long before that shop orders them so i didnt wait), spray, lotion and rubberband i get from a maltese breeder i know of who brings product in from taiwan.

and if you bring your maltese out for a walk, is better to get a show lead instead of normal leash coz they are designed to minimise tangles but ofcourse dont wear too long la....

later on when you notice that the hair dont seem to be growing for a long time and it is almost touch the ground, you will need to get wrapping papers to wrap the hair up.... while for top knot, i started to wrap when she was 4 months old.

its alot of work, but the satisfaction when you succeeded is wonderful especially if you love to see the long flowing coat.... sadly i will never get to experience that....

this is just my noob brief guide, i know all these coz i was heading towards show maltese line, so i went around searching and reading and asking show breeders for guides....

coz if trying to keep long hair, if the hair keep on have friction with environment, is difficult to keep long, so the wrapping is to protect the hair.... but everyday still need to undo and comb the hair before wrap again....
i personally prefered Madan over CCS combs coz madan wont rust it seems.... coz will need to comb when hair wet and when i spray, so prefer non rusting combs....
when cut puppy style, must remember tell the groomer dont cut the top knot part, and the moustache dont cut too short, or else the hair around there will irritate the eyes and cause tear stains....
do you pull the ear hair from weebo's ear canal?

Madan combs not easy to find.... I only manage to get from that 1 petshop.... That shop sells alot of grooming stuffs too like grooming tables, scissors n shears etc.... I think CCS also only can get from a grooming saloon....

When choosing any combs, make sure they are not sharp.... Take the comb and comb on your arm with strength slightly harder than how u comb weebo (coz sometimes we'd accidently comb too hard), if dont leave white lines on your skin then should be ok.... And the pin brush cushion needs to be soft to allow flexibility of the pins....

ok i will.the slicker im using also not sharp, i got use to comb my hand as well coz sometimes miss when combing weebo's paw..maybe she dont like it..if pin brush can reduce her dislike then i'll use the pin brush and easier for me too coz it is bigger size than slicker brush.
*
One more thing i forgot to mention, DONT choose brushes that have the round balls at the end of the pins.... They will tear maltese coat....

QUOTE(muchan86 @ Jun 24 2011, 05:16 PM)
The best would be either CC, Kim laube or Madan brush but I prefer Madan Brush as now CC very hard to get. Pink color Madan pin brush is the best choice for maltese because of its softness texture that suitable to brush maltese coat. My grooming tools are varies from these 3 brands xD Pin brush from CC, Rat tail & Greyhound comb from Madan and clipper from Kim Laube xD

I like Seapark Pet Supplies cuz they really carry lots of stuff. It's too bad they don't really put much effort on their website, it would be great if they start doing some postage and we could order from the website thou.

what is your budget like? have you done your homework on maltese? you can contact Kinzonu, Frederf (fred_twh) or White Palace to see if they have any available.... the latest news i know of is that Kinzonu might have a male one but not sure if still available or not....
