Hey all.. for those interested,
Andy (Sebaver) has managed to get us a good deal on the pedal locks at GLS Auto, USJ 7.

1. Locktech (as seen in the pic above) = RM380 nett
2. Aorto Lock = RM320 nett (though I can't confirm whether it's the "Pro Series" or the "Premium Series". I'll call them tomorrow.

Let me know if you want to install it as I'll be doing it this Saturday.
*
Scott, are we going to do a bulk with GLS on this lock? Do we have the price list for our club from GLS now?

Not yet, Willie hasn't finished compiling the list just yet. When I go and collect the Mats on Weds / Thurs.. I will check with him again (unless he faxes to me and Andy before then).

He has ready stock for the Locktech one, but not the Aorto Lock. Price might not be the same for the latter though..

GLS doesn't carry stocks for Aorto Locks, but it is available upon request.!

Let me know if you intend to get Aorto Lock.. He will need 3-5 days to place a special order on the Aorto Lock, I can arrange for them to call you once the Aorto Lock you've ordered is available.

The prices are as posted by sysh, unless there have been some price changes from their supplier.!!

hey, surprisingly i've got my baby PMM last sat..
the door visor that my SA gave me was not really original i think.. he said from Taiwan.. sien lo.. but the dark tint and the door visor really match with PMM and make a difference if compare with those without it..
very excited driving it..

errmm alarm really sounds like cat and pick up not tat good compare with vios.. maybe i still sayang my car and dont accelerate that much.. air cond quite cooling but if change to direct and rear flow then not tat cool.. steering very soft and light driven.. radio acceptable but got slight ZzZZzz sound.. cd sound is good.. boot damn spacy.. until nearly dropped myself inside it when pulling something from the end.. overall still very satisfied with my baby..

btw, can we still start the ignition if Lock Tech is yet to be unlocked? my SA installed Pro Lock for me.. dunno wat brand is tat and wonder it works the same..

First, for the door visor, is it clipped or two-way-tape glued? If clipped, that means it's original.
Second, for the ignition part, if it's locked, there's no way to start your engine, unless you temper it.

Yea, what Andy said.. if it's double sided tape.. then it's not original. I've got some pics of the original one. It's in our official forums. You can check it out.

Yea, the alarm is downright soft. Some guys actually pull the alarm to the boot area to make it louder. And it;s much better.

Under driver seat rear flow aircond is quite lousy cos its noisy..and not really much of air flows through. I'd rather full blast the direct flow.

Do you have a pic of the Pro Lock? If it has the double lock action plus the ignition cut-off, that's decent. I think quality is about the same with all. We can't really judge

yea i think if direct full blast it's still quite cooling even at fan speed 2 and under the hot sun just now.. i think the tint do help as well..

will try to take a pic later.. i normally park at basement so wonder can take a clear pix or not since it's black in colour and installed quite inside.. can just see a key hole there.. it is quite small and attached to the brake pedal.. but quite easy to lock and unlock..

anyway all have been installed so will just accept it.. overall quite satisfied with the car..

oh yea r u all aware of the child lock at the side door there? was shocked when my coll cant open the door from inside.. sweat.gif u need to open the door from outside then only can see the white small switch and the door panel.. i just learnt to know it.. they even asked me to complain to SA.. luckily i didnt call.. so paiseh.. doh.gif

Take care of your car key set esp if it with other security lock(s)... this is no joke. blink.gif Put all you spare keys in an easy accessible place so when u called for help from others is easier to locate it get back to you...if this is happening when you are already out from your house. Can't imagine if you are 250KM from your spare keys tongue.gif

That's good. But RM 600 for a brake lock seems like an inflated figure.
Do you know which brand?

Yeah RM 600 seems kinda expensive but its imported all the way from Germany.

Besides,i am getting it free with the car,so definately no complains.

I'll PM you shortly on the details of HC3

Err.. I don't think I'll put the boot tray coil mat. Looks rather 'weird'.
I think what you need is a boot tray to avoid spillages and dirt to mess the carpet
Or those grippy Magic Mat to ensure you tofu doesn't move around when you are taking hard corners up Mt. Akina, I mean Genting Highlands. whistling.gif

Yes, tint will certainly help a lot.. Bigger cars (CR-V and Accord) has heat-absorbing glass, which functions like a tint. One thing to be careful about tint is the rear heater. Make sure they don't spoil it.
