The Honda City Connection Club (HC³)'s UOTT session

Location has been updated, peeps!
Unless we've got any objections or better suggestions (please PM me or sebaver), let's stick to this place.

Reposting info on GB for Aorto Lock due to server crash :

Just called the shop and was told that if there's 4-5 ppl ordering it, the price is RM430 per lock including installation. Slightly cheaper than the RM450 i paid for mine! Bear in mind the retail price for this is RM580, so it's okay la.

Sysh, I believe you'll be heading this GB right? When you get the final number of ppl committing, see if you can get it cheaper or not. The guy from the shop say it's better fitting the lock at the shop as all the tools are there. Takes about 15-20 minutes to install each lock.

The shop is called KTL Auto Accessories in Taman Bayu Perdana, Bukit Tinggi. You can find them here : KTL Auto Accessories map

Anybody here interested in Group Purchase of the Aorto Lock?
If yes, do let me know as I'm planning to do mine this coming weekend ie. 7 March (Saturday)

Is this the one where you were revving beside me at the traffic and you thought the TC member in front of you thinks you were revving at him?  tongue.gif
*
Haha. Yea. But I didn't know he was in front of me till I call the TC - ###
His car looked modded slightly. Prolly would've whopped my arse since I do pack a big weight advantage in the forms of a "beer gut"..haha!

Hey all.. for those interested,
Andy (Sebaver) has managed to get us a good deal on the pedal locks at GLS Auto, USJ 7.

1. Locktech (as seen in the pic above) = RM380 nett
2. Aorto Lock = RM320 nett (though I can't confirm whether it's the "Pro Series" or the "Premium Series". I'll call them tomorrow.

Let me know if you want to install it as I'll be doing it this Saturday.

I am interested for Aorto Lock for my Civic. Can you check for me if the same price applies and is compatible. If yes, YES, i would like to join you guys for it...

Am still in JB for work but will be back KL tomorrow pm flight. Saturday should be fine for me.  brows.gif
*
Cool. Btw, did you check my post on the Locktech an Tru-Lock that I saw at Brothers @ Kelana Jaya? I think it's probably an older version (without the Y-Socket), but it's going for RM99 (as of last weekend, I saw 1 unit each)

Scott, I heard the brand "LockTech" is more famous in the market. However, i see it both with my own eyes during my visit to GLS, Aorto Lock seems having the same function! smile.gif Let us know your decision smile.gif
*
Which one are you planning to get? and when?
I'm going to scrutinise both locks on Saturday before making a decision. I like the LEDs on the Aorto Lock, but I've got to see the overall built quality of both. Hopefully both have the ignition cut function though smile.gif

As the name suggest, we're from the Honda City Connection Club (HC³).
Typically our members are owners (or future owners) of the 3G (some say 5G) City.. but we do have a couple non-City owners too.
We're just fun loving people who enjoy our rides over a cuppa teh tarik and the odd maggi goreng.
We do have collaborative TT sessions with Team City (our taikor) too.
If you are interested to join, please drop me (sysh) or sebaver a PM.. and we'll hook you up.
Our next scheduled TT would be in 2 - 3 weeks time, but if you want to yum cha.. can always call me nod.gif

Seem not many going for modulo bodykits, no matter replica or ori..
How do u feel modulo attached city?
*
Not yet.. I guess most of us are waiting for other designs to hit the market.
I might just get the Modulo kit (replica) in the future since it's pretty subtle. just worried
about the ground clearance 'cos where I work, the road's pretty uneven and undulating.. even
at stock, I'm just inches from clearing it rclxub.gif

P/s: Photos from the 2nd UOTT are posted on Page 1. Enjoy, guys rclxm9.gif
