i have this tripath TA2024 class-T amp. looking for a nice pre-amp.
since i am using a smps 12v/4A for this amp, it's best if the pre also share the supply. any recommend? CKD version also ok. |

QUOTE(LittleGhost @ Dec 13 2014, 12:09 PM) you have a pot in front already. Is stepped attenuator a kind of vr? where can i get it and roughly how much for a stereo one?Just get a stepped attenuator for the upgrade (passive pre-amp, although the word "amp" is pointless in this context) Save the money you'd spend on preamp for upgrades later. |

QUOTE(wim1983 @ Apr 17 2015, 08:10 PM) I will buy boards include ODAC, O2, try to make these 2 into DAC + preamp first, then will hook to another power amp board from CLASS D Audio power amp max up to 300watts, I think this will be the best transparent and powerful setup without breaking the bank, cost in USD will be something like: Haha. You need a BRAND. Start think of a good name for the stuff that u want to sell.ODAC PCB - $99 O2 PCB - $99 CLASS D AUDIO POWER AMP PCB include SMPS - $285 to $500 (based on power watt range from 60 to 300) Casing a bit headache, coz need very customize, most likely will need some time to work out the design |
