I'm mad for the recent results but I'm still optimistic on the tittle challenge. By far, this season is the best season or should I say the most points at this stage of the season. The possibilities is still there, it just been narrowed a bit and the light at the end of the tunnel is dimmer now. Remember for most of recent seasons, at this time we are not a title contender anymore, merely competing for fourth and fifth place only.

The only bothering thing is, Liverpool, I mean Rafa should wake up by now with no even a win this January. I can see his massive pride and ego controlling him. He used the pitch as his bold statement on the transfer policy by not using Keane which he didn't want at the first place and that caused us so many points particularly in this January. I hate him saying that Keane'll be in the starting lineup and when the game starts, he's on the bench and worse, not even making a step into the game.

Let see this as a whole. Liverpool is great this season and we can continue doing so. Trust Liverpool (not Rafa). Be more positive.

Babel and Lucas are good players. The good I mean here is generally good, not exceptionally good. It just their recent form are like hell. And the worst part of all, Rafa didn't see it. He just continue to play them both when we're in such a tight situation. I don't care if they play if we're leading like 3 or above. Can't Rafa hear what we want? He's being disillusioned by his own alter ego. I think I can't watch Lucas anymore. Better some young academy lads than him. Babel, let him play in reserve as much as possible to rediscover his touch. Just get Lucas out of my face. Hate to see his 'innocent' look when he's the one who made the most mistakes.

Let him be. Just a typical United fan. Furious when other fan talk bad about his club. They think they are always right, ALWAYS, no matter what.

No.It's not like that.I found them very funny at times.

They call themselves those who wanna make peace with other posters by calling their supporting club manager Spanish Waiter, their posters that posted things they dun like as idiots, their captain dumb.

When we did that, we get reported for troll.Posts were removed.Just because we din report and they dont get punished, they thought they are superior and above us.

They said it was their thread and they got their right to post whatever shit they want. Then why cant I post what comes across my mind?Or is it only them who have right to post and we dont have?

And to call a kopitiam styles spammer who know nuts about football better in terms of posting is ridiculous...

"corez hamsuplou"

"lulz that 818 dude"

These? Quality posting? Better? What shit are these? doh.gif

If you can point out one good posting of this spammer, I chop my head.  tongue.gif
Demand right to post!!!

Good points there. I rarely going into other teams thread because I know my place is not there and I know their posts are just ridiculous and want me to spam there. So better if I don't. At least here in Liverpool thread, we rarely see kopitiam style post. Most of us post good opinion or at least, 'good english' rants.

Back to Lucas, I can't even think him as Liverpool player anymore, just another Rafa pedo golden boy. Kuyt atleast, even as no 1 golden boy of Rafa, he still can provide us goals (champions league?) and running around with no point.. Keane? I don't know which category fits him. Rafa's black sheep? He just don't rediscover his goal touch yet (but a very good one against Arsenic)..

Ok. I call for stop. Not because fear of losing, but this is just getting more ridiculous. This kind of war will have no end and no one will win. I respect you and I demand for you to respect me also. solstice818, I also nicely asking you to stop. We'll gain nothing from these.

It's settled isn't it? Can we go back to topic please. Nice reading your attacks on MU thread btw.

So are you all in the mood to talk about our next game against Chelski or still mad about win-less January? I can talk about both. I'm cool for Chelski and can bring back my rage for the draws.. hehe.

Lucas. Lucas. Lucas. Made me grinned just reading his name.

His tackle is the worst. Doesn't he learn from the best ie Masch, Alonso, Gerrard or even our back line? His recent displays shows no improvement, yet Rafa sent him down just to make that stupid tackle. I wandered around Liverpool forum around the net, and guess what, Lucas is the main topic right now. Everybody hates him. Rafa love him. Lucas in dilemma..

Well, I bet most of us understand why Alonso, Riera all started on bench since Chelsea game is close. But to play Lucas and Mascherano together just sucks big time. Their partnership had been proved to be FAILED since few games ago.
Poor understanding between them, poor teamwork. And will keane start in Chelsea game? If yes, then we shouldnt blame Rafa on benching him.If no, let's gun down rafa. thumbup.gif

Nice one.

Rafa said if he wants to attack, he'll use Lucas as for him, Lucas is attacking midfielder. But from what I can see, 70% of his time on pitch is at behind. Even Masch going forward and made an assist for Benayoun. Maybe after he saw that Lucas is s**t. Lucas getting ball, either making back pass or making unsuccessful pass forward. And at the end, he menyibuk with defense and made that damn tackle.

Ok. Maybe I'm anti-Lucas. But to be fair, lets just not look on the tackle incident, but the whole game and several games before. As for the tackle, I'm sure there were so much opening in the mid and right area at that attack. I'm also surprised, where the hell are everybody, letting that area completely vulnerable? Maybe Lucas done the right thing, which is tackling to prevent cross, but unfortunately it was a bad tackle.

Look as a whole now, Lucas rarely give any option either on attacking or defense. As I said before, he'll just back pass the ball, pass to Masch or make many unsuccessful passes forwards. He tried to do some Alonso-esque through passes but he's nowhere that standard. He also not trying to feed the ball to the winger. All I can see is either Carra or Skrtel making long passes to Torres or Gerrard.

That's just a game, not to mention all other games before this, where he failed to help the team.

QUOTE(sunnyK @ Jan 30 2009, 02:47 PM)
to a certain degree , i believe liverpool FC have fans and supporters who are more loyal, takes higher pride as fans  and emotionally, more attached to their club than united. this is judge by me from discussing with friends and especially reading liverpool's forum here and elsewhere and yes , although man united football discussion forum are of good quality but liverpool forum are just excellent. believe me , you guys have plentiful of good forum posters who are able to assess , interpret and analyse football game better ,and  the final evidence is that whenever a new threads get started , more often than not , it generates many comments and input from liverpool supporters and fans

lately in this month of january 2009, i read and heard more frustrations, rants and anger from liverpool fans ,more than anything else , i could feel you guys are genuine and loyal supporters especially in this current testing time where waves and waves of results , supposingly should go liverpool way but gone otherwise instead , drives the nut out of every liverpool supporters whether genuine and loyal or casual  and more so as this season , the hope for the long wait may finally come to an end at least this belief occur in december last year . but everyone who follows the BPL are aware , the prize are not lost and won in january and even if united are in a strong position , there are still enough games for liverpool to catch-up or even overtake
liverpool and manchester united are great great footballing club with great success ,traditions and history with millions of supporters for each spread worldwide . although both club supporters have long ago on paper and mouth and lately on the internet ,declared war on each other through cursing and swearing at each others .i believe the competition and the desire to be the best of the best drives both club supporters to this level of rivalry
as long as both club fans and supporters not open fire and go to war about it , long may this intense rivalry between this two great clubs  continue

P/S : guys i can understand your frustration as i've been a united supporter for 32 long years and i 'll stick with the club i support through thin and thick even those long suffering years of the 70s and 80s
*
You know what, I do agree on what you said. I'm maybe supporting Liverpool not as long as you are, but loyalty is in the blood now. In my Liverpool years, I never felt the happiness on winning the league. But I stay loyal to my club. But you see in Malaysia, while most of football fans are around Liverpool and United, Liverpool fans are mostly old-die-hard fans and more mature while many but not all United fans are just some glory hunter and start to support United at their peak 90s and current. So I would say many United fans are just young and immature and blindly support without knowing the history behind it. I said this because I see people around me are like that. And I know many of Chelsea fans are also like that, glory hunter. But I do know some people who are really love their club (United and Chelsea) and support them since long ago, following them on hard days, and I respect them. And I'm not saying all Liverpool fans are mature, but most of them are.

We're ranting particularly on this month because of recent results. We're sad about it. We're bitter about it. And as usual, we hate when long-rivalry United is above us. I've been in this thread for a long time (since 2-3 seasons ago) but mostly just wandering around reading, sometimes express my feeling. I like to have a war with United fans but make it base on facts and analysis, not anger and stupid swearing.

I believe Liverpool can make it this season, providing that no more ridiculous play and formation since we are at the best this season, compare to so many seasons ago. thumbup.gif

Lampard doesn't deserved that red card. He got the ball first. But what the hell, it's 50-50. His leg was high and the ref was Mike Riley. But that f**king Bosingwa should get one too. I guess there will be investigation by FA and he'll get the punishment later.

We played the best today. Chelsea got zero chance throughout the game. And since Lampard's sent off, they just defended, with 10 men behind the ball. I'm freaking mad when they start time wasting in 80' to get a draw, they have no ball unlike other big team. They played like Stoke and other bottom team. But it may a good thing. We can push forward more and guess what, Torres is just magnificent. Somehow, I think today Rafa made a good call on subs. Kudos to Rafa. (Typical fan, win, credit the manager. lose? all swearing on him..)

ps: Where are the people who jinxed on Aurelio earlier today? lol.

Today Reina can just sit and drink Carlsberg in front of the goal. No serious threat from the Blues. I guess their tactic with one striker won't do any good on us eh? Our midfield today just run and run. Good for them.

Two times for Chelski this season. I'm over the moon already.. Now concentrate on next game and next game until we meet United in next month.

And before that, kick RM out of Champions League first. They will fear us, guaranteed.
