Nice new thread ... I'm staying in Perth, Landsdale ... I'm currently in Wanneroo Senior High School . Got a friend is here too but she's currently in Canning College . Still trying to adapt myself in the new environment . Any tips that I should remember or take note during my studies here ?

I have a question here : Year 11 got a lot of test or exams ? My friend told me that got a lot of exams and such ... We also have to change our subject every semester . How true ? I did some internet searching but didn't get my answers .

If I'm not mistaken, there's a mate here also going to study at Wanneroo SHS. I forgot his Forum's name. mythic or something.

If you are taking up TEE subjects, there are sure a lot of exams.

Subject change depends, eg: only like woodwork for the first half & metal work for second half

Subjects like Maths, Physics etc run through the whole year.

ok...Thanks for the info . Actually that's me . Changed my forum ign cause the account got some problem ... Like intruder and such ... Not happy with the name as well . You're still in Perth ?

Haha..what a pity. Today is my first day come across this site. Umm..don't think this site operator will allow me to have two accounts. Anyways, did you apply your student visa yourself? Why not? Don't tell me you do. Do you know you can simply apply it online yourself? Well, you always need services from others if you are not familiar.
You sound really naive and get angry easily. Do you know you commet will potentially get others into trouble. Have you analyse the current rooms availability in Melbourne and the rate? Well, keep your anger to yourself and don't trust all the 'bloody agencies' around you. I think the next things you want to do is to encourage everyone to store their money at home in stead of bank, because the bank is going to earn from you right. HoHo.
Thanks TSM, homestay fee at burwood for 250 sound expensive, AUD 220 - 225 sound reasonable. Your friends didn't go thru Uni right?
However, my friends just need a temporary place to stay for a while until they can find a place to stay longer. Anybody have any spare rooms please announce.

What's the point for having two accounts as you just found out the site for the very day ? Everyone knows that we can apply online and please don't make it as you're the only one who knows it all . To start off , I think that renting a room is expensive in everywhere especially if its near a school . Be it in Melbourne or Sydney or Perth . I don't know what the agencies did to you but it won't happen to everyone AND just because you can't find a room doesn't mean the other can't . And please remember that this thread doesn't allow any ''ShortForm'' ... Check through your post and you will know what I'm talking about .

yea, you're right, the calculator I brought for high school costs $180  sweat.gif

Did they recommend Wooldridges ? If so, don't buy from there, buy from Big W instead, cheaper.  biggrin.gif

Yes ... Woolbridges ... Mind telling me whats a Display Book ? Exercise Book as in blank pad or like ''Buku Kerja'' in Malaysia ? If its like a normal blank exercise book ... Go Big W ... SO much cheaper . But textbook I must get from Woolridges . I took visual art ... And they got an art pack ... Do I need to buy from Woolridges ? Because it's under the school's name .

I think most of the exercise books are 8mm feint ruled

It's better to buy those refillable one Display Books

Better get to Australia quickly and find a place to stay rather than keep worrying when you're studying . Can't focus though .
