here the things you should do,
1. take a bus / taxi to tawau city ..it will charge ur around rm15 - rm45
2. when you reach the town around 10pm, pls find a place to stay first. just find a budget hotel like rm80 - rm90
(actually we are currently on the way to build a tawau directory pages, http://www.tawau.my .here you can find a hotel with the map & lots of known place in tawau, please pray we done this sites asap!! )
3. after check-in to any hotel, you can have a dinner at lots of warung & restaurant around the city. i suggest you go to warung nasi lalap in sabindo area. its cheap.. will cost you rm8 including milo ice
4. at the morning start your journey with go to semporna bus station. you can ask the hotel operator. find a right bus to semporna. it will cost you RM15 to semporna frm tawau. the journey is 90km with 1.5 hours
5. after reach to semporna, go to sea fest hotel. in front of the hotel you can see lots of boat you can pick up to the island u desire
