u mean change my phone date back a few year, install the .sis into my n82, then only change back the date to current?

Anyone wanna share what theme u use in your n82.

I prefer theme that is nice and can see the words clear bcos some themes we cannot see the wordings in foreground clear.

I like to nominate booooster as elite as he has been helpful. He had help me tremendously when my phone is down during firmware upgrading. He is the right person and expert in phone especially for N82.

need help again pls.

when i open Maps, the map screen opened, but the GPS seems not functioning. The GPS signal on the bottom right conner is blinking on first bar only. I go to options>tools, only see "Turn GPS off", which means my GPS is ON. I was outdoor, and waited for a few minutes keep trying but no signal.

What shall i do now?

My GPS working oledi, i walk outside to open air area, for less than a minute and the satalite signals are there. So canggih can see my location.

But the walk and drive to cannnot work, it ask me to purchase software ....

when our computer have problem, we format HD and re-install windows etc.

when our n82 has problem, we do hard reset is it?
when we do hard reset, what will happen to N82?
what will be lost in the phone?
latest firmware also will be lost is it?
all installed applications will be lost?
all contacts, calenders, notes will be lost?

soft reset is like remove battery and put it back?

When I click "Mapsource Registry Script" at above address, and save into my harddisk, the file is mapsource.reg.txt.

What shall i do?

Have successfully installed my malfree map, it is great map, even hongleongbank, shell, esso, 7-11...... all are shown, even Menard is there.........good map. cheers.

Let me share my experience on installing Garmin.

First install Garmin.
Then I install MalSing Map June2007.
Then I update to latest version map of MalSing Map.
After update, it ask for lock code, and I m stuck.
So I check forum, and found MalFREE Map, I download MFMv141.exe (dated Feb2009)
It then produce .img file, and i copy to my Gamin folder.

Now every thing is perfect oledi for my N82 using Garmin with the lastest map.

Thank you for regularly updating. Now we can see and use uptodae maps, cheers for MFM.

Added on February 15, 2009, 4:20 pmMy frens N82 sms has a strange issue.

When he type sms, everything is fine.
But after he press # to change the input mode, when he move the cursor, the cursor is not only move but highlight the words wherever the cursor move (just like when you wanna copy something). Kind of strange.

Normally when we wanna highlight words, we need to move the cursor while pressing continuously the # key, but for his case, after he press the # key (not continuously hold it down) to change the input mode, when he move the cursor, the cursor will highlight wherever it moves.

Anyone has such issues?

V31 firmware

I find that using v31 firmware, the battery life is slightly longer.
Do others feel the same too?
