1. Girl ride motorbike, need some sticks to do corner baring is not cool. Need sticks to make wheelie also not cool. 2. The animation looks outdated. Hopefully this is a youtube problem. The fact that the show began with the GPP hostile takeover sets the stage that it will become serious anime, but I still love the scenes of Rin prancing around with the Rideback ala' ballet.
Hopefully those scenes are aplenty. There are a few questions though, if GPP obtained their military superiority with Ridebacks, how come students get access to them as well, even if they're civilian specs, those ridebacks have big potential for military use. Dude, no one is forcing you to watch it. You can always drop and watch what YOU want to watch.
As I indicated in 1st post, this anime is for college or working crowd group, not for action or excitement junkies. Racing is not the soul of the narrative, it is STUDENT POLITICAL movement that pushing the story forward. Google South Korean student protest during 80s, Tianamen Square Protest 1991 and White Rose Movement 1943 in Germany. No 2, the story is about Rin's self healing and rediscovery of her freedom of expression using Fuego as her medium, lost when she have the fateful accident in ballet dancing. When I first watch this anime (its recommended by a good pal to me) it was breathtaking!
It's been a long time since I watch a really good quality stuff! (A long time since Karas actually, I find a lot of other anime are in decent quality but not BIG BUDGET quality!) Seems that MadHouse is back again with their superb-quality-anime, the last time MadHouse really does a great job on anime quality is Clamp-X (and Tenjyo Tenge sucks so not count, Kaiji is ok but not superb). Anyway back to RideBack, I think the storyline is gonna be great, the fresh idea of RideBack is cool, (hell I wish I had that kinda motorcycle!) Let's just enjoy the show, it's not easy for anime studio to do great anime nowadays. Long Live MadHouse!!!!  |

Just read the manga and wow... quite different a bit but still prefer anime pace. As in manga its quite different a bit and very rush. But this series is very nice though.

thanks for me being all far away from source of interwebz... i iz late in watching ep 4. mind you the raw not subs. the anime franchise have the derive greatly from the manga ones. still its a bit rush for a 9 volumes manga to be translated within 12/13 eps of anime...
and eps 4 iz for t3h win. and btw, the ED song which entitle Kioku by Younha is avaiable in Korean. hehehe |

I read the first book manga and watch the anime till episode 5 and different a bit.. But love the animation alot when you watching HD in your 22 inch monitor.. Ogata Rin just rock ^^

So their SOP is pretty straightforward plus Rin is a terrorist, a very dangerous one too since she can pose a danger while she is on her even unarmed Rideback. To add more, she also an escapee and now becoming a symbol of rising resistance in one of the richest country in the world. Ruthlessness and decisiveness is in the book. Every action has a consequence and this anime shows why (which makes it an A series). Therefore I am amused to see people's reaction to this as if GGP should not do it. The white Ridebacks were prototype and GGP want to assess it's feasibility as law enforcement vehicle after its usefulness as primary combat platform is not needed now.
But the personnel are still bunch of trigger happy soldiers, not properly trained law enforcement personnel. |
