My entry

Very lyrical in motion poetry. Very beautiful anime.

Strictly for people who looking for deeper meaning in anime. Not for moetards or Narutards.

Dude, no one is forcing you to watch it. You can always drop and watch what YOU want to watch.

As I indicated in 1st post, this anime is for college or working crowd group, not for action or excitement junkies.

Racing is not the soul of the narrative, it is STUDENT POLITICAL movement that pushing the story forward. Google South Korean student protest during 80s, Tianamen Square Protest 1991 and White Rose Movement 1943 in Germany.

No 2, the story is about Rin's self healing and rediscovery of her freedom of expression using Fuego as her medium, lost when she have the fateful accident in ballet dancing.

This is what Rideback is all about.

It is not freaking Slam Dunk or Hajime no Ippo style anime.

Stop whining. It is ANNOYING.

haruki, she got beheaded by a GGP rideback..
WTF was that!!?.. shocking.gif

It is called law enforcement. Remember, to GGP, Rin is a dangerous terrorist who injured few GGP members few episodes ago. The response is expected and logical considering the chain of events. Suzuri is afterall look like Rin with red orange Balon which did not look too different from Fuego. An unarmed Rideback still dangerous with its metallic arms.

Just like how our FRU disperse protesters, dangerous ones like be quickly eliminated. GGP just doing normal police procedure.

it better to disabled the rideback than killing the rider. Her death is politically motivated...

still puking rewatching that scene..

It is made more sense to kill the rider than go for disabling the vehicle. Human body is soft, not machines. So as a law enforcer dealing with a HOSTILE terrorist who injured my colleagues despite my outfit have the latest military Rideback with an UNARMED Rideback, I will definitely gun the terrorist down quick and efficiently. No questions asked, no second thoughts.

Keyword: fast and efficient.
Target: a hostile terrorist that is capable to kill with Rideback.

Political or not.

Think like a police for once, not a virgin otaku. Then you see their reason why they kill her.

Huhu then again aa, IINM police were trained to shoot to disable first (different case for military though); they can aim for fatal spot only if the criminal act is too dangerous to the point they cant be stopped without killing them. What I see in Rideback is the White Riders really aim to kill (thus instead of act like a police, they act more like military force).

Police is different from military, since they mainly deals with civillian, in which "no question asked, no second thoughts" thingie wasn't very suitable to apply

GGP is a military group, not police force. So their SOP is pretty straightforward plus Rin is a terrorist, a very dangerous one too since she can pose a danger while she is on her even unarmed Rideback. To add more, she also an escapee and now becoming a symbol of rising resistance in one of the richest country in the world. Ruthlessness and decisiveness is in the book.

I am not surprised that GGP is just want to kill her based on these factors alone. Every action has a consequence and this anime shows why (which makes it an A series). Therefore I am amused to see people's reaction to this as if GGP should not do it. People are too used to being invulnerable and no consequence mentality.

The white Ridebacks were prototype and GGP want to assess it's feasibility as law enforcement vehicle after its usefulness as primary combat platform is not needed now.

But the personnel are still bunch of trigger happy soldiers, not properly trained law enforcement personnel.
