Disable CPU to RAM ratio. OC ur CPU first, then only ram
Added on January 18, 2009, 10:11 pmIn general, DD2 rams should be oced by reducing the timings frist, then only increse the frequency This post has been edited by shaun3230: Jan 18 2009, 10:11 PM |

Well, thats my opinion/tips on a successful ram oc as in DDR2 rams, the timings effects the performance more than freq. DDR3 is freq than only timingsAnd I another Melakan =D Quite near to old UTEM =P QUOTE(capiche @ Jan 19 2009, 03:08 PM) oh.. finally a malacca OC thread.. haha.. me myself malaccan... but studying at bp.. QUOTE(suicideroach @ Jan 20 2009, 11:22 PM) Yes, it may shorten the lifetime a little bit, but it is generally quite long to start with. Who will still want to run a CPU after 5 years?I have 1 CPU that has been running with elevated vcore, overclocked and stressing 100% 24/7 since 2004 and still going strong. And all my CPUs are stressed 100% all the time. If you know how much trouble it is to make chips, should make it work 100% 24/7 |
