haha good point...after all its also quite easy to perform OC with the e43...did before 3.6ghz...but dunno why now cannot hit that point anymore (processor aged maybe?)
by the way..is there any chance to do 3.2 and above with Q6600 on my freezer7pro? some how i like this cooler alot (maybe due to its size and performance ratio) |

Dont worry la, Q6600 can reach 3GHz on stock coolers. Was using that before I got my CPS9700

speaking of better coolers... i nearly killed my PC with the liquid kit...become phobia already..thats why im selling it hahaha...i frogot to clamp one of the pipes..and it started to leak ...sigh
anways...around 2-5C temp drops only...IMO not really worth it for the extra maintanence...better stick to air |

however..i do wanna warn...it is not that quiet either...the fan at high is also damn loud...tho low is suffecient for cooling and also...(tho for some reason i liked the sound) of water dripping inside the reservoir....which somewhat made me feel relaxed ...haha *can meditate....ommmm....ommmmm* This post has been edited by Bonchi: Mar 9 2009, 09:55 PM |

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Feb 24 2009, 02:40 AM) the liquid cooling kit's budget is confirmed already...im going for the thermaltake big water SE... huge but still better than those premade water cooling kitsHSF wont do much...as high end ones are really huge..and will have mounting problems in my casing which is an i-cute i think i can use pt tape to overcome the leakage probs..but right now..unsure of liquid's 24/7 operation and also the coolant of choice..can i use automobile radiator coolant?...the coolermaster one is quite expensive IMO wonder if any experience WC user in melaka ...really need these advice i am using sunbeam ccf inside my icute case, no problem |

not stable OC lo...check your voltage and see...also..your rams..see if the speeds are okay..enough voltage to the rams or not..
coz im using dominators also..if its not set...it wont be 1066mhz/5-5-5-15/2.1v these can cause PC to crash |

Play around with the voltage. Use P95 to test the stability. And disable all those CPU features in ur BIOS like Speed Spectrum, etc |
