Everytime I turn my phone on, then it goes to blank screen. I have to press the Menu button only then it shows the menu screen, hit back then it shows the home Screen again.
Oh ya thats seem to be a slider/on/off bug. At some point when there are many notifications, the phone seems to confuse itself from lock but display on with unlock with display on. So the screen goes blank momentarily but already unlock, only to slide it again to lock. That is firmware fixable of course. It has happen before for other phones that uses slide switches.

despite all the probs, more n more ppls getting this Tube. as a fellow Tubians, i feel proud.

.
hope Nokia will release improved FW (especially to make the cam better

)
Thats because its cheap. History shows that when it is cheap with very many features wanted by consumers (whether it is good or not), the demand is sure high one. The Nokia 5800 has done many 'RIGHT' things in consumer's want list and it is cheap. Malaysian consumers generally know the saying 'a good is worth its price'.

By problematic, I meant that many forumers have been experiencing hardware problems other than the earpiece volume.
And no I do not have one, yet.. Will probably wait if I can until better units are produced
Well it depends how severe is the hardware problems. So far the only hardware problem I have heard is the earpiece volume thing which can be easily fixed by sending it in. Some people take it the negative way where sending it in must mean something severe, like not going to hospital because it means something very dire knowing that hospital care is better.
The rest of the hard problems like screen going blank seem to have something to do with the screen protector. The gap thing is more like built quality which is to be expected. Then most of the problems are fixable from firmware update (through user experience).
