Besides Nokia Maps, anyone aware of any other GPS software that is compatible with the 5800 touch UI? Just curious as I have not been able to find any myself.

Just to share: I had problem disconnecting a call I made when I was using my bluetooth headset. I had to off the headset to end the call. Weird, happened to me last evening when I was driving back home from work. I'm using a Plantronics Voyager 815 headset for info.

Thanks. I should have said ..."besides Nokia Maps and Google Maps...." I tried it too and it's exactly like you said, not usable unless you have an unlimited data plan.

If you choose to save messages on memory card would PC Suite be able to read those messages? I tried but PC Suite says I have no messages. Is there a setting I can configure in PC Suite so that I can sync to my messages in the memory card?

Hmmm seems to be working now. Checked the Messages on the phone and initially said " Cannot access selected memory, messages will be saved to Phone Memory" or something like that, reset option to save messages on memory card, went back to PC Suite and re-opened Comm. Centre, and now it works......strange

I sometimes get the ringtone defaulted back too, dunno why. I'm suspecting something not right with the memory card sync, as I encountered instance when my messages also got error as explained in my previous post. Both songs and messages are set to be saved on the memory card.

That's great, perhaps you have a properly QC'd 5800, just enjoy then.

If yours is an Ori set, go to NCC (recommended) or if you're inclined to DIY you know where to find the instructions on how to do rectify the problem - the 1st page.

Well I have a General ringtone set in Profiles and one specific to my wife, so far it works no problems, of course I haven't tried it out with so many different ringtones yet. However, when I had the N70 a long time ago, I assigned different ringtones to different groups of people and it worked fine. Perhaps the OS gets a little confused when there are too many variations?

I went to 1st floor and got it same day. Must insist one, if not they will tell you standard is 2 days. Insist because it's your right.

Read in IPMart that Garmin XT can now be used with the 5800. Cannot paste link, I think they're using proxies that dynamically changes the addresses. Anyway good news for GPS users me thinks.

That's normal. It's just like windows, sometimes when we use the applications or start a program up and then later exit it the processes do not terminate as it should, therefore RAM is still being locked up and not freed. It's most probably an OS memory management issue but typically a restart of your phone will free the RAM up. As long as you don't feel too much lag in navigating your phone, it should be fine. If you feel lag, restart.
