wtf..I'm facing this problem where i remote upload to my account but it says I'm having too many remote uploads already. Problem is there is only 9 remote uploads in the queue :S

Did i see a renaming option for files in the last preview pic RS is showing to us? That would be awesome

thx a lot for the info deep_blue_4ever. beside the server problem (using cogent but still using other server) i cant find server TeleGlobe in my server list.

Cogent #1    Deutsche Telekom    GlobalCrossing #1    Level(3) #1  Tata Com. #1    TeliaSonera #1
Cogent #2  GlobalCrossing #2  Level(3) #2  TeliaSonera #2
  Level(3) #3
  Level(3) #4

hmm...try the following:

- tick "Direct downloads, requested files are saved without redirection via RapidShare"
- select "Tata Com" (perhaps this is the replacement for tg?)

juz give it a try...nothing to lose smile.gif

how do the freegate works? does it make ur rapidshare log ended up having lots of ip address and get banned?
*
try download n start the software 1st...after successfully connected to the freegate website, set the proxy inside ur download manager similar to those stated inside freegate.. i think its 127.0.0.1 with port 8580..
then try to download 1-2 files as a test run..make sure u get the latest one... icon_rolleyes.gif
about the log, unless u share ur acc with other person (which then could result in simultaneous downloading time), there wont be a problem...from my log,i use various ip (UPM ip & freegate ip)...still no ban...so no worries...
but i would recommend sticking to one method of downloading files for 2-3 days... rolleyes.gif

Confirmed download rips is better than iso? Bcos tonite I wanna download the original RA3, I takut only after downloaded, I might have extraction problems at 99%.  sweat.gif
*
rips are better in terms of how much u have to d/l (much, much smaller IMO) and generally being cr**ked earlier on..but may suffer from missing audio files,FMVs etc. and it usually won't be registered in the regedit...(unless u input the registration entries after installing it)..
vice versa for iso...

hmm..if u use IDM,maybe u could check the links first, under 'Download with IDM' shell...
the IDM will check for the availability of the file(s)..only check those from the servers which u prefer most...in my case, every server except Cogent and Globalcrossing...

btw,i love those files on dt (deutsche telekom)...i get 1Mbps usually there.. drool.gif brows.gif

@tamimbro
i think keratapir's reply already answered ur doubt...
some files are located only in a few servers...maybe that's why although u've chose a specific server in ur acc setting, but ur files still being dwload from others servers (in ur case GC 'n L3) smile.gif

Those with 115.134 IP, what kind of speed do you get and what server are you on? I can't get 60.x.x.x no matter how many time I reconnect.

If you guys want Teleglobe, try using Tata.
Combination of this setting really paid off. (Atleast for me)
124.13.xxx.xxx and Tata(Teleglobe)
No need to use freegate anymore rclxms.gif
*My setting on Rapidshare: all 3 random server set to tata#1

Like already been said, maybe not all of your files is listed on Teleglobe or maybe Rapidshare had some kind of trouble listing their file. Either way, it works great for me though. icon_rolleyes.gif

ok,thats a gud 1st step..now juz check the box on files that displays tg or tg2 servers..
and other files which u prefer more..
then,re-check the link again (right-klik,donwload with IDM,check links,repeat)..if done right, u can have
almost all files on tg/tg2 servers...its a hassle,i know..but well worth it.. nod.gif

Hi all,

I'm a premium user, and have been for a couple of years. I use Flashget as my primary download manager, with max 8 files simultaneous downloads. I am still on the 1M package, and on good days, I get download speeds between 150 - 180KB/s.

Until recently, when I have 8 files being downloaded simultaneously, flashget would more or less evenly distribute the speeds between the 8 files, say 20 - 30KB/s per file.

Since February however, rapidshare files are very unevenly distributed. A typical 8 file simultaneous download would have one file at 105KB/s, and the rest with 10 or some SINGLE digit KB/s. Worse of all, when the file with the fast speed is completed, flashget does not detect, and the rest of the files are still being downloaded at very slow speeds. And this happens only with Rapidshare files, as megaupload files are pretty evenly distributed.

Anyone else with this problem?

Also, flashget doesn't like megashares....and I use IDM for that.

For IDM users, is everyone using the registered version? I am still pondering whether I should pay for it, as the unregistered one has some limitations

Please advise!! Thanks in advance

I myself use FDM and I always get uneven speed distributions. I try to limit the thread to 3 most of the time.

IDM is USD24.95 so around RM90 and FDM and Flashget is free. But if IDM is better I don't mind paying for a good software.... but I don't like this statement on their website:

"FREE upgrade to all new versions of IDM during one year"

So does this mean that we have to pay for upgrades after the first year. That sucks! Should be lifetime or until major upgrade.
