i believe that nzogbia was tracked by AW, if not nzogbia won't announce that he is ready to leave for Arsenal. Similar case to Sagna who joined us last season who also announced that he was willing to play for Arsenal and then few days later he was bought into the squad.

heck... 5M for Nzogbia vs 20M for Arshavin? think which will AW go for.. Nzogbia is 22, he got quality, proven winger and full back. Played in EPL for 3 seasons already. meanwhile Arshavin is proven in Europe but EPL? adaptation period summore... age?

too expensive for Arsenal to spend on...

but arsene never said anything about nzogbia.. i dunno if he is really interested in him or nzogbia just being wistful.

i believe AW is tracking somebody else...
he used to say that normally he doesn't want to name a transfer target coz it may make the transfer collapses.

You're kidding right...? A midfield with average height of 5'9" will not win the ball man! This is the polar opposite of our bully boys Vieira and Petit!

But seriously though... Instead of Nzogbia, I think we have one with better potential in Gibbs and don't forget Armand Traore is doing quite well in an advanced LM position.

lol, our midfield is pretty short. so is our defense(apart from JD) the only place we have height is up front- and even that, vela and dudu are not exactly very tall. i dont think traore wants to come back. he likes it at pompey.

i wonder y AW is so hesitate to play Vela on left wing instead of throwing Eboue to his unfamiliar role.

ade, who used to be very active, before he tot he is a world class player..

and also fabregas nowadays seem to be all over the pitch.. but in slower pace..

Hmmm....Btw, I dont see him as a faster runner with pace. But quite effective winger that can cross the ball pretty well. I dont mind having him in Arsenal's Squad.

Added on January 9, 2009, 5:02 pmI think Cesc played better when he is paired with Flamini last season. He have more confident going upfront, after Flamini left I think his playing style change a lil bit as he will need to provide cover for Denilson in the middle of the park. Unless Arsenal can find another player that can give Cesc the sence of security he will be aiding the attack like what he did last season.
