when you are charging it, there should be a light on, after it has stopped charging then there will be no more light. i think should be like that

most of the ppl will charge for some said 8 la, some said 10 la,
but for li-ion battery, i don think we need to do so.
as long as u charge (full charge), and discharge (use ur laptop until the battery drain off),
and repeat the cycle for few times then is ok liao.

power off ya machine.

turn on and u will see a HP logo appear. press F10. and go to BIOS setup Utility.

find something similar like System Configurations -> Device Configurations - > change Native to Compatible at SATA DEVICE MODE.

ya windows installation should be able to detect ya harddisk now.

u may try to disable sata mode inside BIOS. If can't then u need to load SATA driver before u able to install it

So, u need to get external floppy drive, extract & copy txtsetup.oem file into diskette.

1) Connect the floppy drive
2) Boot from CD
3) once u see the XP setup screen (blue color) Press F6 to install third party driver.
4) then specify to select the sata driver from floopy drive.
5) after that u shud able to see ur sata hardisk.
