They're ranged from xenon units to jasper but most of I heard is Jasper

in that case, i'll just have to wait until microsoft release the new update or wait for proof that nxe doesn't cause 3rod.

If im not mistaken,
If you registered a new account, a free 1 month trial Gold membership LIVE will be given.
It does not apply to console, so you can create as many account as you wish for free 1 month.

Without HDD, i think you can play online game normally,
But i'd suggest going for Jasper Pro since it's already out.

Games need Update, and add-on that may be up to 500mb.
256mb isnt enough.

IF i'm not mistaken, you may create up to three(3) accounts with free 1 month Gold subscription and after that no more cheese for you.

Without HD you can go online but you'll have problem if update is needed to play a game. Some games requires update to proceed to online multiplayer....

Newbie question. Think of getting a Jasper unit for mostly RPG games. Is it better to get a Japanese console? Since it can play Japanese and Asian games, or should I just go for Asian console?

Japan.. uh i dont know, maybe you will have a harder time finding a game/MS points and gold card++

Even Asia can play All top JRPG games,
like Eternal Sonata,Tales of Vesperia, Lost Remnant? and upcoming Star Ocean tittle.

I updated my Jasper set using offline method, no problem at all. I love the install game to HDD feature in NXE.

as i saw in other threads, there are ppl who has a jasper arcade with 120gb hdd.

but the thing is, the shop i bought my jasper arcade said, not sure whether the jasper arcade can support 120gb anot. but 20gb for sure can.
cuz i've got a good offer on the 120gb hdd.

another thing, i just can't seem to find ppl selling these harddisks, cuz im trying to find used ones. either that, or they are selling way too expensive.
regretting not buying the jasper pro.

any xbox 360 will support up to 120GB hdd. regardless on where you purchase or what motherboard it is.

There're some shop in JB holiday plaza selling120GB harddisk with price around RM290 ~350.

I also see someone selling it at Garage Sales/games @ RM499
