Hi all finally closing in to my ideal weight and size.. Been losing weight for 3 months and most of my old suits cant fit me properly now. I have lost about 16kg and i think now would be a good time to invest in a new suit. I have been going to ALT for my previous 2 suits. Planning to try something different now. I have been eyeing Jeremy Tok for sometime. I like his line and cuts but i heard from someone that it dont look too good on a big size guy. My other option would be to go to thailand and get it done there. I did my first suit in thailand and its probably one of the best suit i ever had. So any thoughts on jeremy or tailor from thailand

Anyone can recommend place to tailor a suit? What is the price range like to make a suit? How long does it takes?

I know nothing about suit. Started working now so I need one.

Dude. Don't hear people say this and that. If Jeremy@kotmj cannot make adjustments/design for people of different size, then he is not good at his job right? If a fat ass billionaire wants to make a suit with him, you think he would turn down that offer because he cannot work on fat people? C'mon man. He makes custom clothes. Not off the rack stuff.

Thank you all who came from the forum and from others.....great to meet the members and make new friends.

Great conversation around clothing, tailoring, different cultures and offcourse food....

Too busy to take much pics, just a few snippets.

There is still tomorrow, please come by to say hi and to a meet the gang and Jerry.
Give me a call before coming to avoid any disappointment, we can still accommodate some last minute guest.

My mobile is 012-2067048

Part of the cloth selection that Jerry brought over. Good mix of everything.

So the fitting session happened last weekend.

Thanks to the people who came.

Seeing these pics reminds me of the early days of JT LOL......

Will post more pics soon....not of all who came obviously for privacy reasons.

If they can make my plus size friend look good and has a clean back....i am confident.

Well, barchetta means little boat. A barchetta pocket is one that is curved like a boat. More difficult to sew.

Barchetta pockets are, of course, a feature associated with Italian suits, in particular Southern Italian ones. Above is a jacket I made in that style featuring no shoulder pads, spalla camicia shoulders, waterfall sleeves and the curved breast pocket. Cloth is Holland & Sherry Crispaire. Fully canvassed, of course. It was made for a member of the senior management of Google Malaysia.
