42 to 38? I think you can pass on the jacket unless you want to risk spending 100 bucks to get a likely ill fitting one.

Considering the size of the tear plus the obvious location, I doubt anyone can do much to save it. Would be pretty pissed with the maid...

KFW was featured in a news article some time ago. IIRC they are one of the old timers in the area and are pretty good. Don't expect a modern cut though.

Tailors of AL's age are usually not that receptive to personalized demands and tend to deliver their house cut. It worked out fine for me as I prefer a more classic (not dated) cut.
