They used DHL as a local carrier to the forwarding hub then after that, shud be Pos Malaysia to my door. Yours was the 14Euro shipping rite?

Watching Bolt 3D in the cinema was such an amazing experience. Everything is sharp. With these 3D blu-rays, colors are so off. You're like watching a movie drunk. Lesson learned, never gonna get another BD with 3D - nothing but a gimmick.
*

Because in the cinema, if not mistaken they are using different projector (I think 2 units) to create the 3D. So, basically, it is hard to create a very convincing 3D effect in your home system. Unless, you are loaded.

In cinemas, polarised light is used to project the 3d movie, which you watch using polaroid lenses. There's no way to simulate the same thing on television sets.

I understand that. Not expecting a 3K tv to provide a one for one visual quality of a cinema - but have you guys seen how bad these 3D bluray titles are?

Warner Announces Batman Anthology Blu-ray Box Set
Posted in Studios, US Releases on January 7th, 2009 by Dave

user posted imageWarner has finally announced the Batman Anthology (1989 - 1997) for Blu-ray release, covering the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman movies.

While Euroland appears to be getting single disc releases of these four titles, the US is getting them all in a box set - so no way to avoid the hideous movie Batman & Robin.

Extras include over 18 hours of special features including documentaries from Directors Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher, deleted scenes and music videos!

Retail is expected to be $129.95 and the set is due out March 10th 2009.

For Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D, the PQ is obviously not satisfactory from the colour point of view but the overall 3D experience is still fun. thumbup.gif Imagine that this is not even possible at all in the past to watch on your home TV and now it is possible through BD albeit not so great PQ. I think if given a good storyline and in 3D (unfortunately Journey is not), then I believe it would be worth while watching if you have missed the cinema version. doh.gif

I didn't watch Journey in the cinema and therefore I am quite satisfied with the overall experience (3D and AQ) but not the PQ. rclxms.gif

Amazon UK is also releasing it for only GBP36 which is a steal if you like the first 4 batman movies. It's scheduled to be out on 16 March. Check this out: Batman Legacy.

amazon france has it but at 32euro!! amazon.com and UK has 3rd party seller....at a ridiculous price.

yesasia.com has it too but for some reason they're not sending this one to EEC.

manage to order it from play.com but it has been on order since mid december...i wonder if they'll get it at all.

I never watch 3-D movies on home cinema format before, let alone Blu-ray. Is the experience good.... hmm.gif as good as watching at cinema? The best 3-D movie I've seen was Jaws 3D long2 time ago! Others were Disney's shorts at Euro Disney & in HK... oso one in Movieworld, Ozzie. drool.gif Never seen any at local cinema yet.

last night watched Paris, Je'taime...wonderful collection of 18 short films shot around Paris, individually directed by 18 diff directors. a bit on the artsy side but if one has been to Paris, this is a wonderful movie to watch to reminisce.
