QUOTE(fentanyl @ Feb 16 2009, 10:02 AM) He can sing. ok lah, he sounded like retired rock star. ahhaha.. saw the 'making of Mamma Mia!' in the bd extras, seems that all actor/actresses sing on their own! highlights to Amanda Seyfried (plays Sophie Sheridan in the movie), she sings very well. not sure if you'd call it a bollywood movie......although it is a hindi movie.
director doesnt look indian to me.. Danny Boyle...good ol' pom. many awards so far from golden globe and BAFTA....also lining up for oscars. |

I don't think you can call Slumdog a Hindi/Bollywood movie. Sure there are Hindi dialogue scattered all over the place (but for which there are accompanying English subs), but majority of the script is in English and there's no Bollywood-style dancing around trees.
