got dunlop meh???.i tot conti,silverstone, and goodyear for persona.... but try michelin primacy lc...or even xm1....people say is quiet and nice.....currently im using michelin PP2....its sort of bumpy a bit and slightly noisy..but when cornering and highspeed stability really good....

i would like to buy proton persona..but i have little bit confius whether to choose B-line or M-Line...u guys think which one better i choose...in term of monthly payment no issue..i do some survey and most of the owner said buy b-line and "rugi" if i buy m-line..the different oly for their accessories and u do some make-up my car if i need to become same as m-line for example, spoiler,side mirror colour same with body or bla bla bla..

please help me to choose...

my target either B-line or M-line only bro..
anybody can tell me why i must buy b-line and why i must buy m-line..

I think the size of side mirror is big enough for me, maybe i'm already used to it.
the purpose of small mirror i think can reduce the wind noise especially when traveling in the highway, next time i should try to fold it in the highway, to see weather the noise will be reduce further or not when traveling at 150km/h

M line doesnt have ABS, only H Line have it

dinodegil, if budget isn't an issue by all means go for M-line. Steering button is really handy and simple to operate, just press the buttons to navigate tracks, switch to aux/radio/cd and adjust volume without needing to stretch your hand and press the buttons on the audio unit. MP3 is really handy too so that you won't need to buy those cute girly hamburgers to store your CDs.. LOL.. Single driver airbag gives you protection but your front passenger might not be so lucky. Electric mirrors are cool too, but too bad they aren't retractable like Waja CPS. Aesthetics wise, with M-line you don't have the two black unpainted side bars and side mirrors, and the stock spoiler looks good too (but bad paint job), plus the stock alloy rims are much better than the steel rims that come with b-line

Do all persona come with 5 years warranty? I'm a bit confused with this..

the normal warranty is 2 years or 50,000km.. so the other 3 years is what? extended warranty? what does it cover?

my car is over 50k and replaced the door latch and got charged for it.. so i assume it is not covered by warranty? really confused here..

lately there is some "uhkkk ddhhup" or sound when I over a hump a bit faster.....wondering what is the problem???......suspension problem???.....only front......

I donno why my persona.. like more use FC...
I think around 120km already use 1/4 of the petrol tank..
and the meter show 8.5 liter/100km

.....heard is due to power steering hose where its metal rod touches another metal surface that causes the sound...but, it might be other issues also....so far no solution yet....and i actually dont really hear the sound, maybe i am used to it d.... .......

wassup... ......erm....i think due to our cars 1year plus..and 1st batches....and mileage around the same as well....and might be the lower arm loose???..... but other than that, no problem....the problem occur now is the "uhkkk ddhhup" sound when go over a hump faster.....

oh yeah btw...what petrol brand you use since RON95 came in to picture???.....me BHP...so far ok....

yar...i'm exchange program. it take you 5-7week to take the car. pls always car the SA if not they will not follow up your case. they need take picture then send application to proton kl and they will take around 3-4 to proces it. i got news this month is the last month for the exchange program. pls always call the SA..

last month i ask Proton agent if I trade in my persona for Exora, they value my persona for 33K around that... same like urs, 1st batch Mline manual .. insurans mmg sengaja charge mahal la... wait when u want to claim later..

I owned two new cars before.

MyVi for 3 years plus. The 3rd month i sent to tint. 50% comfort gold all round. Road block, kenak on the 3rd week. Stupid move by me. Sides and rear should have just maintained 50% and front at 30%. Had it fixed the following week and replaced to 25% front windscreen tint. And ever since, it passes block even though sides and rear still 50% gold.

Now i barely own the Persona for 24 hours. Just had the car out from the tint shop like barely 2 hours or so. Kenak flagged down by police. Say cannot see me. My tint (black) was 60% dark sides and rear. Front is clear but a bit reflect and it was 40% dark.

I went for such tint level cuz i saw my friend's Mitsubishi Triton with 50% all around is still very clear.

I know standard rules is max 50% sides and rear. And Max 30% front. But i have seen many cars with 60% sides and rear and still not that dark and passes the roadblock everytime like my mum's Kelisa.

What i didn't realised is that, Persona's interior is all black. Windows are smaller thus, "view" of the person sitting inside is more limited. So these adds up and made the tint looked even much more darker.....

Man... i never learn..... shit man... How now?! Sigh... someone please slap me. hahaha....

hey...just curios, why over time the brake fluid will decrease???....the brake system suppose is vacuum system...and also my brake pedal is not consistent where night time the brake is hard/more makan where press a bit will able to feel the braking BUT during the daytime hot afternoon, i need to press more (almost near to the max level) in order to brake the car better.....and i notice around the brake reservoir (the container that hold brake fluid), there are some brake fluid coming out around the area.....i clean it, but after few weeks, the fluid stains is back.....and i even topup more fluid, but it will decrease few months later...

wow....so did the new brake reservoir cover solve the problem??....mine when open the black rubber is loose and can fall out... .....wonder is the cover can be purchase at spare parts shop???...since I didnt service my car at SC d....

and also..is the problem common 4 u too where the braking level is not consistent...like somtimes need to press more to brake or sometimes tap a bit can brake d...

How come my persona auto 50 ringgit goes for about 200KM? is it because its still new??? Currently about 390KM old.

sure boh? my one just 2 week but the FC not like your one.. 1st tank can go until 380km 2nd tank can meet 420km wiht RM60. 3rd tanks 380km with RM68...ave can say RM 0.145-0.17 per km...

Yes a lot of stop and go. Most of the time i am driving in city area where lots of traffic lights. I live in Kuching a city with a hell lotsa f**king traffice lights!!!!!!!!! aduh...mati la like this. hahahaha
