eh. who wanna buy go card?
since you cant buy from gold coast airport, u can save like aud2/person for your first bus trip.
got 2 cards; one with aud 4.50 and another with 5.50. so with deposits, it is going to cost aud20 for 2 cards. interested pm me, prefer to cod in penang to avoid problems.

both movieworld and dreamworld are nice. i think dreamworld's rides are more extreme, but each of them has their own attraction.

i didnt go to the zoo. if u want to see animals, its better to go visit taronga zoo in sydney.. but its about 24 hours drive from goldcoast la laugh.gif

dreamworld punya tower of terror is terrifying when its launched to the top, but not when you are falling from it.
and you know what? some random guy's wallet from 2nd row flew to my place when we were at the top spot there.

Added on July 20, 2011, 1:14 ami got some extra tips for those who are going to gold coast. but since i am using 4g connections, kinda costly to dig all the info out. wait till i back to my place i shall post all the discount informations.

http://www.yourcoast.com/

get all your vouchers here. i got great discounts at currumbin wildlife sanctuary, whale watching and dreamworld! total up i think i save up to 80~100 AUD per person. but my offers were until end of june so new offer might be different. explore the website yourself. you just register your email to it, print out and you can use it straightaway.

Added on July 20, 2011, 4:06 pmfor cheap and good accomodation, i sincerely recommend the one i stayed. The shore apartments at surfers paradise. you can go to tripadvisor and have a look.

no, they will update the promotions once they are over. my vouchers ended in 30june and now all the same promotions still exist, just with different deadlines. so a week or two before you fly to gold coast, visit the website again.

@darkforce - thx again for the advice. So I simply purchase the voucher within 1-2 weeks before departure, rite?

@puchong - yup. from my research there's a quite number of halal food in gold coast. worst come u worst u can still try the seafood.. i;m sure u know what kind of seafood cooking style to pick.. hehehe.. about the currency, few weeks ago I change at Mid Valley for Korea Won currency. I believe they offer one of the most competitive exchange rate in KL. Dun change at bank.. their rate always not so gud one..

@meruchan - can advise me any gud place nearby surfer's paradise for me to try halal fish n chip with a budget cost.?. hehehe

there is no need to purchase. you just download the vouchers (which they will sent it to your email) and print them.
