I have been to Excel Photo Trading few times but ended up didn't buy anything from them. When you ask for price reduced, they are quite reluctant to give discount some more keep asking you what other shop prices. IMO, if you want to give discount, just said out the best price. People tell you other shop prices you also can't give that low. So ended up I still go back to C&S.

If you can build good relationship with them then it is more easier. Normally I will do my own research first then go there ask straight to the point or give them a call. Save a lot of waiting time.

C&S pretty responsive, i smsed for a price quote and got a reply in a matter of minutes.

i bought my SB-600 and 35mm lens from Click n Snap...

i went to excel...got one a bit old guy...not too old la...but rather old..uncle... quite lansi...don't really wanna serve me.... my friend bought his SB-600 for RM790 but when i quote the price, the uncle die die dowan to give...take it or leave it...

i damn TL...so i just walk out lor... memang my friend bought at that price how come i cannot get same price lei?

i went to Click N Snap..no need nego..the sales guy there straight away quote me RM790...

so when i wanna get my 35mm lens...i didn't bother go excel liao...

Should also try go to Hike Enterprise further down the road, products are very reasonable and the owner is a nice dude.

bought my 450D at C&S. the cheapest among all the shops i asked around tat area. quote me the price i expect straight away.
reasonable price n nice service. the boss explain everything to me n even teach me how to check my camera.
he's like waiting for me to ask more questions and he did answer all the questions i asked. he gave me his card and told me to call him whenever i got problems with the camera. like the boss very much.

hike enterprise boss is really a nice guy. friendly and chat with me around half an hour although i din get my camera there cos he quote me higher price and he said no more discount. but i really like the boss service.

excel is quite lansi. when i ask bout the price, he jz quote me n say cant lower the price anymore.

as for megastar, this is the shop tat i swear i'll never go in again.
the taukeniang is very rude. when i ask the price for 450D she jz ask me to buy 500D. i told her i wun 450D, then she ask me to buy 1000D instead. later on, she told me to take 40D pula. she treat me like i'm a stupid that jz want to buy a DSLR without any reserch or knowledge. i told her tat i want 450D and the price for it, then she jz ask me to wait. in the end she quoted me the highest price among all shops n i dun even bother to nego with her n jz went out.

Because price goes up. But I still can get RM 7xx for SB600 be it at excel or CnS
Maybe lower some more

You know why they recommend 500d ? Because it's worth more than 450D. Personally, 450D not worth anymore. If you really fancy without video dslr, 1000d is the choice
