Haha, the Predator 1 is Undici's 'must buy' for 2009. It's a must buy for me too. Pre-ordered it without knowing the price. When the price was revealed -gulp- but then again the HT predators have always been in this range.
Anyone letting go the HT Predator 2 Damaged version? |

A foot/feet review of the Hot Angel figure (Female SS ERT) by Hot Toys... (As many own Machiko and the new feature of The Hot Angel body was not present in the first release).
A more complete Hot Angel body than the first release, Machiko. Her feet shape are realistic and can be swivel above the ankle. The foot has limited left/right position by a rod shape hinge at the heel, realistic up/down movement hinged at the ankle. The foot is a one piece shaped for a mid high heel shoe and does not look right flat to the surface/nor is she stable. Feet would look great in tiptoe or heels stance... Pics from an ebay seller.. Few months ago someone told me it's ok if value does not exceed sgd100, then few weeks ago someone told me if you stay in SG for 3 days you get to buy $600 without tax (RM or SGD not sure...), now they are charging 30% for toys whatever your price is. Is there any place I can get the Custom Black Secret Book? |

You have 10 box I'm sure you can fit 5 box into a back pack. Unless you got those big box one better use singpost not so expensive anyway.

Heres some low quality pictures of my Full Time Killer Andy Lau by Cooltoys from Hong Kong.
Comes with leather jacket and pants, a Bill Clinton Mask, a Sunglassed Face, 1 Shotgun, 1 Uzi, 1 Pistol & few grenades and 2 extra pairs of hands. Gun catridges are fixed but you can pull the grenade cap.  Too bad after few years of storage in the box the leather suits have peeled off, the leather had become dust and sticks on my hands yuck...  Don't know what to do with him, maybe ditch the clothes and turn him into spare parts... |

avocado- i am using the shoe shine with wax (those that you just wipe on) on the anakin "leather" to prevent from drying. I guess you have to take care of it as though as your working shoe (if you are working). Leather or synthetic leather will dry up and harden if you dont wear it often or you dont wax it to soften. Once dried up it will crack or peel. i noticed my anakin leather is dull and dried. Guess the previous owner just kept in box. I applied the shoe shin and the leather has some shine and soften...BTW try at your own risk. Use black or the clear shine...

right now it is still shiny looks like it has a top coat but small spots are failing you press it it will defor those parts become dull, and the leather like linings are gone on those parts. Right now i applied abit of paper glue to keep it from coming out. Have been thinking about shoe/leather polisher for a while but because they are not real leather so i don't know how the outcome will be. |

i think all leather-like will be like that. You have to take care of it and keep them soft. The liquid shoe shine I used is a pen type. Just squueze it out into a container dip a cloth and dap on the leather. Tight area use cotton bud. If all else fail, take it to a a shop that makes leather car seat cover and ask them to do a new one..

Man I bought a kiwi leather clear liquid protector and try dipping it with cotton buds, but after few times the sponged came off. How bad can the quality be?
Applied some on my Anakin, seems it's not as shiny as it was before but hope it can protect the leather like fabric... I got 2 bottles of same kiwi few years back and i compared the old and new, packaging is the same but the sponge is totally different, i can describe the old one like ur washing sponge and the new sponge like sponge cake which falls apart after 1st use! S*it, depending on which HT AVP he is actually getting, those stuff he got might not be worth it. If he is getting Wolf, then those stuff he got got more combined value than a wolf. But getting any of the first AVP stuff, man those preds are worth like three times their original price today.
The thing I am curious about, is the seller from oversea cause he should be opening dispute thread. |

hehe for the unarmoured neck is easy, just use the one from original suit re-issue version.
But overall i'm quite happy with what the standard mark III can do in terms of variety of pose. I'm sure those HK forummers will find ways to mod the mark III when they can their hands on it. True, no point rushing which batch but since so many hoping to get it before CNY, I was just informing them that most of us who ordered late July probably wouldn't be getting it and should prepared for the worst.
Also, since some of you think it doesn't matter, anyone willing to let go their early pre-order to me so I can write a review for the figure? I consider it a community service, my way of giving back to collectors for sharing their hobbies with us. The later I write the review, the impact will be lesser so better doing it while it's HOT. |

Only Medicom will release like 4-5 version of the same character.
With so many reference material around for a TV show from a few decades ago, you would have thought they got it right by now. Nice touch though not show accurate is that they seem to be using the same material for the Rider 1 suit that they used for the first/the next riders. More articulation but not show accurate cause old rider 1 suit more body hugging. As for Kuuga they will be milking collectors dry. I was told there is like 13 different forms for Kuuga!!! Medicom, where is Masked Rider Kiva? Of the new riders, I thought Kiva is the coolest (especially emperor form) |

i mean its abit waste to put those HT extra head on display without body for them... if we can find a male figure body and plug it.. then we have 2 version of each charector ed transform and original human face haha... so if have batman.. ironman and joker.... then we will have joker without mask.... batman without mask also... and ironman tony stark without mask also.. all wearing normal shirt |

The light should be lower to match the mark III light placement. But no doubt the mod is damn cool. At least dont have to pay another RM400+ for tony stark human version ahhahaha

Assuming all of them have at least 10% off, I wanna get Hot Toys James Dean Red Jacket & the Detroit Metal City Revoltechs. What I can offer is 50% of the XL ang pow you get to tikam, so if get rm10 I save rm5 & you can keep rm5, if rm100 I save rm50 you can keep rm50. Hope it sounds fair enough |

My guess is they're afraid that everyone will rush into their shop once they announce... and those who can't get it will burn down their shops...

what i meant was before they change the design of their forum, non-member of the forum can still go to the pre-order topic. With the new design, pre-order topic do not appear unless you log in....i find that sometimes they dont put certain pre-order items into their main site but in the pre-order topic only. Example HT Hellboy.

ok guys, is it true all ironman from XL first batch got the leg defect? not sure what it means but leg defect because yesterday my brother collected from BTS outlet and he was told all first batch got the same leg defect. i way too far here so didnt get to see it yet. hope you guys can help me clarify it.

just got back from XL shop i thought alot of people will go , been there b4 they start open the door but no people may be this is a fate to me i

yeah NZ dollar now a bit low but seriously i got no more cash left after spent buying everything on household items lah. i'm renting a house in suburb and it's an empty house. so have to buy everything inside. hehehe backhome can drive a brand new car but here only can afford buying an old 1991 car instead. just hope my daughter will help me hand carry the ironman here on 2nd feb lah. |

there is one screw at the top spine and one screw at each side of the tricep. They are very visible. Use a screw driver, gently and slowly put towards the screw avoiding the body to prevent SCRATCHES. Gently turn anti-clockwise until the screw is 3/4 unscrew. Remove the screwdriver and use your thumb and index finger gently uncrew the remaining 1/4 of the screw out. Remember anti-clockwise if not you will screw it back. When remove the screw make sure no contact with the body to prevent SCRATCHES..Repeat for the other 2 screws. Then use blue tag to stick to the 3 batteries and pull them out. Again make sure no contact with the body to prevent SCRATCHES..Hope the above helps....

I would say use forseps to pinch the batteries out of MK3...
Lets see I went through Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, KL airports in one go with my multiple camera/camcorder/lenses electrionics with batteries (more or less 8 to 10kg) This post has been edited by BeastX: Jan 30 2009, 09:56 AM |

SEAL TEAM 10 (multicam ver)   utilized the parts from ACE SEAL TEAM 10 and recently released Barrack Sergeant Multicam uniform set. SCAR rifles replaced by Hot Toys and body too from HT. US Navy EOD (inspired by the movie Hurt Locker)   finish watching the movie and it inspired me to bash this figure. Body from BBi G3. ACU from ACE, boots from DiD, vest from Dragon, glove from HT, Headsculpt from HT, helmet from HT, gun holster from SS US NAVY SEAL CQB (another remake of VHT set)  Body from HT Boots from DiD Vest from SS others from VHT Some civies bashes   |

As promised, I'll review the lighting mechanisms of the Fe Man.
The instructions, (with at least one mistake, refering the leg as a missile). 9 batteries and 4 LEDs in figure, 3 batteries AG9 (LR45) to light the eyes and the chest. 3 AG1 (LR60) in each upper arm to power the repulsor hands. The LEDs are lighted by 4.5v.  The transparent neck post seems to be only able to move back and forth, not sideways. White plastic in the head refects the light to exit through the eye openings, the LED is actually enclosed in the ball joint.  Simple hand ball joint with an opening at the end to allow the light through (whch is actually the top of the LED) . As the batteries is in the upper arm, wires/coductors had to be snaked through the elbow joint to the LED in the forearm's ball joint. actually what happened to McFarlane? last time they were the best in terms of quality back then in year 2000... i bought quite a number of their series before quitting and sold of my entire collection. when i restarted again about 1 year ago, not really interested with them anymore and maybe because this time budget really constraint.

In anticipation of T4, I manage to get the SS Sarah Connor for a budget amount of RM100.00 at Shiok. The guns are good (removable clips) but the there isn't a holster for the handgun. The only other thing I didn't like about it was the skinny arms. But she's an older figure so go figure...

Well my 1st eiditon Midori doesn't come with decals, only printed "03" helmet I assume only newer release has em?
You guys need to becareful on the leather straps on the submachine gun. Seems it's the strap glued together with a really thin piece of leather like material which will come off if you bend the straps. Not as bad as the Anakin SS, as it still remains 1 piece just apply some paper glue and press them back, make sure they don't bend. So far anyone applied anything on Midori Washio's leather like fabric parts and boots? |

Enterbay's have very fine lines/wrinkles..I think, it'll be very hard to achieve with Hot Toys' softer/PVC like plastic

I am going with HT Don on this one. Enterbay's pictures looks better but I know the final product will be far from it.

I saw some G.I. Joe 12" sold at Parkson KLCC. The package is really small with hand drawn pictures on the outer side. Don't know how they look like in the inside. Also selling clothing items with bigger but thinner packaging. Can see the contents.
BTW they also selling G.I. Joe Comic packs and those Q versions, also some vehicles. Price are higher than Toysworkers. |

Last Week's prize.
James Dean look pretty good, despite not so "Hot" here. Only difference between actual and photoshot is the zipper, photoshot zipper uses black/gold with zipper end at the bottom while actual uses gold zipper without zipper end.  D.M.Z.
