QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jan 2 2009, 12:15 PM) ah ha! i googled and i gotten the same reply as the above 3 gentlemen. hard reset it. guys, when you mean, "backup the data 1st", is it mean, copy all your files & folders from your memory card to your computer? does that consider as backup? it's actually soft reset, my dear back up here means something that u're oredi added to ur phone but not the memory card just backup data stored on the phone is enough oredi

QUOTE(davidmak @ Jan 2 2009, 12:48 PM) Yes, hard reset here means *#7370# --> SEND. (I think it is 7370). Its equivalent to a factory reset to default settings. All programs will be lost. Backup here means using either built-in backup utility or PC Suite backup to backup all your messages, contacts, calendar, to-dos, meetings, and necessary phone settings. Content in micro-SD card is unaffected but applications installed in it will be re-detected by the phone and re-installed automatically. It works like a charm. Contrary to the 'real' hard reset via formatting of the phone NAND memory and re-establishing content from the ROM, yes, no real instructions yet since we're dealing with something newer than S60v3. wow u're so pro but i think the *#7370# is known as soft reset, isn't it? QUOTE(alexchan76 @ Jan 2 2009, 01:31 PM) just share the theme that I found with you guys for 5800, not sure got anyone posted this .... http://www.dotsis.com/mobile_phone/showthread.php?t=134452There is another one which i quite like it, called Aston Martin theme (unfortunately it is not included in the link above) thx for sharing but there's an advise here on installing theme plz install all ur themes to memory card instead of phone memory because many of them out there suffered from system crash with some faulty themes if the affected theme is installed on memory card, just need to remove the memory card from the phone and everything will settled but if the theme if installed in phone memory, no cure oredi XD

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jan 2 2009, 10:45 PM) actually the white balance is somewhat inaccurate and exposure also the same and the last pic can't u all c the sky is oredi turned into purple? my 5610 is beating down 5800 easily in terms of picture quality but overall still acceptable since 5800 is just a music oriented phone This post has been edited by feimeng: Jan 2 2009, 10:59 PM

QUOTE(Demitri @ Jan 2 2009, 11:09 PM) Dudes, Nokia selling 5800 for such a price sure comes with a reason. If the camera good, built good, sound good, everything good, sure not this price liao la~ QUOTE(zackloy @ Jan 2 2009, 11:08 PM) With respect both the E71 and 5800 are not camera centric phones. Therefore, there is no point to be overly critical of the camera performance. Fact is the phone is at a very good price/value point. Just enjoy. My 2 cents. 5610 is not a camera centric phone as well but manage to do much better than 5800 how to explain tis?
