Still thinking which handphone should I choose. N97, 5800 or N85  

I wish I could. I am finding ways to get one! I am now working in Singapore, that's why can't get one. JB doesn't sell one at RM1300. That's pretty shit up.

Yeah when I see it is capable of taking VGA resolution at 30fps videos, I know it has something up its sleeve in terms of hardware. But the lower than expected quality is so surprising. Something is broken there.

Pana! Maybe you can take some videos? Is it as noisy in a normally lit room (indoor)?

Do you all know 5800 appears in "The Dark Knight" movie? The one Morgan Freeman used while he was in Hong Kong. Geng~

Seriously speaking, the outdoor performance is adequate. I've done video shooting outdoor too and its great. But indoors are totally opposite. I see N85/N79 doing better here. But of course, those are N-series. I truly understand that, but this is Nokia's first touch phone product and it should do better. Maybe its telling us something about N97.

pana, and other 5800 users... the ear speaker volume problem is on every 5800 is it??

how to fix it as i've read in other forums that it's a hardware problem and not firmware...

man this is a very serious problem as it is hardware related and factory fault
i just won't buy a 5800 just because of this problem...the speakerphone volume goes up then down..? wtf..

Just wondering whether i should wait or not, as in some reviews it states:
"However, it is worth noting from the start that it is not "Nokia's touch phone", instead it is the first in a portfolio of touch enabled phones from Nokia.". If there are more models coming out, i think i might just wait..and if i wait, there will probably be a new touch model with a 5mp with fm transmitter hopefully and if that does not come, then the price for this would've fallen. Anyone got opinions on this?

i wonder why the video capture not so nice ah? i mean for indoor the video recording n camera still image not so nice.
n now when i compare 5800's camera with my mum's k770 n my father's 6500slide, 5800's camera rank number 3.
nway, aside for the camera, really syok with this phone n im satisfied. i surbey around BJ, most shop selling 1499 or even 1599 for avaxx. but i got at rm1380.

Well I think one thing important to note is that for both Video and Camera in 5800, in order to make a fair comparison they have to be uploaded to a computer for comparison. The screen for the 5800 is really big, so it might seem a bit less sharp if compare to other cameras. The other camera's have smaller screen size so the pictures look sharper.
