my work is finished. it's up to Kyno to pin it. whoot!

now, have to wait for chris to sms me regarding that download music thingie. anybody here avaxx/zitron users who also have 100 song downloads instead of the 1000 that's stated in the sticker on the box? when i went to the UM website, they still don't have the 5800 model on the drop down list.

Just wondering whetrher this phone plays movies from the mini SDcard?

i agree...coz at 1st goin 2 buy ....now hesitate due to the probs...

i don't think my phone have the low/high inconsistent volume or at least i don't notice it since so far i never make or receive long call...just normal short call which last less than 5 mins.

when i received the first call from the phone, yes i admit the volume is low but it's due to the default volume set to 50%, so i just increase the volume to 100%. so far it's working normal..no inconsistency in the volume

regarding the small gap on the top right corner...sometimes i notice it , sometimes i don't.. is it due to the temperature or something? LOL

it's just come and go like that...but that bug is nothing..just for the look.

While waiting for Garmin XT support on this phone, I've just activated the 7-days-trial Nokia Maps Navigator. Updated to latest version via OVI. Took a drive out with Cantonese female voice guidance, which is not a sweet voice, and sounds a bit weird, e.g. "now" is pronounced as 'Yin Zhoi" instead of 'Yi Ga'. 
Overall, not bad, though satellite locking is a bit slow. I didn't use A-GPS yet, as my 3G access will be activated only on Monday.

Chris says Gamin not working yet....He tested on AP set a month ago.

Aiyah my question, still no one can answer yet.

What is the configuration at your home screen?

Contact+shortcut+logs or either can choose shortcuts or contacts only?
I saw the 1st page, can put in everything macam E66

I've slightly modified the 2nd user bar.

Those call logs, and icons appears only for those 4 selected contact shortcuts you put on the home screen.

Did the screen-tilt issue happen in the 1st place or after sometime you used it? I suspect it's similar to earpiece issue, whereby the screws that ties the LCD is not tight.

For GPS, it works off-the-shelve, preloaded with Malaysia map. For navigation, you have to activate the provided 7-days-trial. (Maps > Options > Extra > Drive & Walk. The phone will prompt to accept the T&C, bla bla bla). Without activation, you can use it for positioning only.
If need map and other languages, which you find not provided in the phone, connect your phone in PC Suite mode to your PC, and launch Nokia OVI suite > Nokia Map loader to update and select whatever other features you want.

I believe the 'program' you're referring to is QuickOffice. Yes, it can be downloaded FOC via Download! option in the Phone Menu.
