Well I think one thing important to note is that for both Video and Camera in 5800, in order to make a fair comparison they have to be uploaded to a computer. The screen for the 5800 is really big, so it might seem a bit less sharp if compare to other phone cameras. The other phone camera's have smaller screen size so the pictures look sharper.

I heard the first batch of Nokia 5800 got software problem and some minor hardware finishing where got light leakage. （漏光。）
Use and change language option will hang the baby.

i don't think my phone have the low/high inconsistent volume or at least i don't notice it since so far i never make or receive long call...just normal short call which last less than 5 mins.

when i received the first call from the phone, yes i admit the volume is low but it's due to the default volume set to 50%, so i just increase the volume to 100%. so far it's working normal..no inconsistency in the volume

regarding the small gap on the top right corner...sometimes i notice it , sometimes i don't.. is it due to the temperature or something? LOL

it's just come and go like that...but that bug is nothing..just for the look.

hi all. my 5800 screen suddenly has a permanent vertical line from top to bottom that doesnt go away.

smashpOp, that's normally a sign of screen failure. Happen normally with laptop.

Seem like i need to hold my purchase and observe more. This first REAL touch venture by Nokia seem not really on par...

Maybe the owner should hard reset to see if the problem persist? If it is screen failure, then only bring it in.

There are reports of Nokia 5800 with flickering and color changing screens together with artifacts on the forums now.
